Hi-- I am trying to figure out the stage set up so I can buy tickets that are not obstructed view (I know that it usually states it when buying the ticket, but I don't trust it). Does anyone know if the sides of the stage are covered? I am pretty sure you can't see from the back, right? Thank you!

Yes, the sides of the stage are "covered". It's like looking into a very large box...with sides & a top.

I've seen folks sitting in seats where their view wouldn't be so great right on the side of the stage so be sure to check the seating chart for your venue as they all differ slightly.

that is the outdoor stage. the indoor stage is open at the sides, just not at the back (because of the screens).

In 2002 in Denver we had seats to the side of the stage, Paul's right, and we were about ten rows up from the stage. Paul kept coming to change guitars and we would yell his name and he would smile and wave at us. It was pretty cool! The view was essentially his profile, which was great, another perspective. And the tickets were a lot cheaper too.
