It worked! Paul called me on stage during the sound check!!!!!!! It said I play a Hofner too! Can I get a pick from you? If anyone here was at the show and got a picture when I was on stage, I'd be extremely grateful if you'd share!
"...I'm asking because I always bring signs to soundchecks but he only calls pretty girls onstage
Not always, Carlos...believe me (lol)!!

WOW congratulations! Just curious: are you a man or a woman? I'm asking because I always bring signs to soundchecks but he only calls pretty girls onstage
Well, sorry to disappoint but I am a woman.

Can you write the soundcheck setlist?
I'll tell you what I remember. He read my sign before doing any of the songs and I was so over joyed that things sort of faded together. In no particular order: Only Mama Knows, Bluebird, Celebration, Midnight Special, Every Night, Matchbox, a funky Jacksonville rap-type song, Bluebird, C-Moon, Let Em In, San Francisco Bay Blues, closing with a partial of Lady Madonna, Ram On, I'll Follow the Sun, Nutcracker mini jam.

Not disappointed at all, I'm happy for you. You had a great idea and it paid off. Congratulations!

That's right! You were there as well, with your son. In fact, he called a father and his son (dressed in a blue Sgt Pepper outfit) onstage in Brazil two years ago. Maybe I need a son who is a Beatles fan!

Congratulations!!! I was standing behind you against the divider at the end of the row. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures. I know a couple of other people that were at sound check if they have any I will let you know.

I really appreciate it! My mom has been a Beatles fan since age 11 and would LOVE to see a picture of me with Paul.

Do I understand the Sound Check costs $1500 and a Front Row Seat at the Sound Check costs $2000 and you still DON'T even get to meet Paul . . . AND you still have to buy a ticket for the concert????????????? That can't be right : : : :
-
Those prices INCLUDE a seat for the concert. Front row is for the concert not the sound check.

Both the Hot Sound and Front Row VIP packages offer you the sound check experience. Hot Sound package ($1500.00) offers seats from Row 3 to Row 7 to the concert, basically in the middle section of the floor. Front Row package ($2000.00) offers seats in the front row but in the side floor sections. The sound check seating for both packages are approximately 30 rows from the stage. Neither package guarantees a meeting with Paul. Hope that helps...

From my experience, DO NOT buy the $2,000 ticket. I couldn't even see Paul I was so far to the side. Also do not count on meeting Paul at sound check.

Agreed. That's why I got middle 4th row (Memphis 2013) and middle 3rd row (Atlanta 2014)
-
Then what the hell are ya' paying for???
-
I think center front row is reserved for free-Bs. Tickets given to people in the nosebleeds.

Huh? Was that directed at me? I paid $1500 for a close middle section seat, soundcheck (from row 25 in Atlanta, in front of the soundboard), the "dinner" and the swag. The food was 100 times better in Memphis than Atlanta!
-
I was responding to the caution not to buy it.

Wow, that is a lot of money for one concert seat, soundcheck and vegetarian dinner. Seems like soundcheck is basically little over a hour "concert" and you are not very close to the stage. I assume the concert seats are real good but IMO the whole package is over priced. I could not imagine paying that type of money but to each their own !!

I've done a few in Chicago & yes it is very expensive for what you get. The soundcheck is great with some different songs but now that setlist is mostly the same. You usually get a backpack & a traveling cup with logos printed on them. You are about 30-40 rows back for the soundcheck but you get a good seat (most of the time) for the actual show. I think he could at least give out autographed cds or do a drive by & give all attendees a high 5. LOL.
