If you could ask Paul just one question, that you've never seen an answer to, what would it be?

There are a lot of questions that I'm sure have never been asked to Sir Paul (well probably not). My question would be why didn't the Beatles just pick a different manager that they could all agree on instead of "the ultimatum." The Eastmans and Klein perhaps could manage individual artists but pick someone they could all agree on to manage The Beatles. I've never seen this question asked of any Beatle.
Now what is your question?
How come you go by Paul instead of your legal first name James?
That’s an easy one. His dad was Jim/James, so they called him Paul to avoid further confusion. The real question is why did they name his brother Peter Michael and call him Mike?
I thought it was a custom but I don't remember the reasoning.
I know it is a custom in the "south" of the US that many men use their middle name instead of first name but not sure it was a thing in England.
I thought it was a custom in the South that men use two names, like Billy Bob or Johnny Lee.
lol - very true
Interesting. I don't know anyone in or from the South who goes by two first names; however, everyone except my dad was called by their middle names, including my grandparents. Don't know the reason for that. Like all regions of the world, I suppose it varies from town to town.

I was being facetious.

Paul addressed the name question in one of his website "You Gave Me The Answer" Q&A's. He said, "It’s a strange story! I was told that it was because if letters arrived at the house for James McCartney, you wouldn’t know whether it was my Dad - that was James McCartney - or me, James McCartney. So that worked until they called my brother - whose name was Peter Michael McCartney - Michael!? And there was no Peter in the house to confuse him with! So I’ve ended up thinking it was rather Irish! I’ve no idea! My mum was Irish – and I don’t know, maybe there’s just some old thing where they call you by your second name. Nobody ever called me James, it was always Paul!”

I remember that now!

I would like to ask Paul if he has made any more paintings, since the ones we saw in the Paintings book from so long ago? Has he photographed any of them and does he plan to ever show his Paintings again?

Can I see your stamp collection?
(Was it Ringo in AHDN who said that the dancer was going to show him her stamp collection?)
