Glasgow, UK - SSE Hydro- 12/14- CONFIRMED
-
My ticket has just been delivered by mail. Not for Paul, but for Lily Allen's concert in Glasgow on December 13.
When I saw the envelope I got all excited, as I had forgotten about the other possibility.
It was sold by (and sent by) Ticketmaster UK, the same company in charge of Paul's tickets. Too bad his tickets are not sent in advance like that.

Just looking for some advice from anyone who knows the Hydro well.
In a panic, when tickets went on sale led me to buying 2 lots of two tickets (was planning on giving the other set as Xmas present).
Just wondering if anyone knows which are best :
053 ROW F seats 85/86
OR
003 Row U seats 52/53
Hope someone can help. Cheers !

053 ROW F seats 85/86 are the better seats.
We sat near enough the same seats for Ritchie Blackmore last year and they were great.
They're in retractable seating and you're above the floor seats so nothing should block your view.

I agree, I was on Block 52 for David Byrne which was great as you can see over everyone else whilst there's a chance of someone tall blocking your view

Thanks for sharing, I've not been able to see it as it wasn't my Ticketmaster but good to know that it will be with me soon

My mum’s cousin just sent me the photo of the tickets. Sadly it’s not a merchandise ticket & those crappy flimsy paper tickets that Ticketmaster are now doing. But still absolutely buzzing
-
My tickets arrived earlier today.
I'm lucky enough to have seen him three times before - Glasgow 2010, Liverpool 2011 and Liverpool 2015.
Realistically, this could be my last chance to see him live!
-
My ticket to Paul's concert in Glasgow was delivered today here in Brazil, just 5 days after it was sent from the UK!
Ticketmaster printed an incomplete version of my address on the envelope, but I found out an option on the DHL website to replace it with the correct info just in time for them to attempt delivery.
Shipping was expensive but worth the cost, due to the fact that DHL provided real-time online tracking, .

Just looked on Twickets and there’s 3 tickets showing for Glasgow if anyone is still on the look out
-
Just noticed someone on ebay selling 3 hard tickets for $225 each. Apparently it's a family from Los Angeles who are unable to go to this concert.
-
Show time for Friday has been confirmed at 8:00pm (approx).
Doors open at 6:30pm and the curfew for The Hydro is 11:00pm.

Tickets arrived ! Can not wait I wondered if he would come back to Glasgow tbh . So thankful he has !
A little surprised he isn’t doing 2 nights , he’d have sold them both out easily .
Ive listened to a couple of YouTube bits from concerts he’s done in Europe in the last week or so , and he’s sounding really good
3rd time I’ve seen him in Glasgow , along with one in Liverpool and London .
never thought I’d get my 10 year old boy Joel to see him . He’s Beatles / Paul daft , and for us this is a dream come true

It'll be a memory Joel will always remember. I've never forgotten the memories of every show I've been to. Especially when my mum took me down to London to see him when I was 12. My parents thought that I would only see him once

This is the first Glasgow show since 1979 that has sold out - that's why he's not doing 2 nights because he couldn't guarantee that night #2 would sell out.

Paul has chosen not to play Mull Of Kintyre on his only Scots show in 2018.
His decision emerged after Kintyre Schools Pipe Band asked if they might join him on stage to perform the hit.

I hope they're wrong. Maybe not them, but the Loretto pipe band will be playing with Paul again

Surely not, he did it at the Australian shows and in Vancouver, Toronto etc last year. So it'll be utterly baffling if he doesn't do it. "We couldn't come here without doing this next song"- last time he played Glasgow. Guess it's good to be warned that he might not do it
