Will actually be in London tomorrow (traveling from the US) and just curious as to where the arena is in London. Got busy 6 days in London with theater, ballet and seeing the sights. Looking forward to being in London during Christmas season.
You'll have a great time, lots of stuff to see if you haven't been before.
Would have loved to have "scalped" a ticket especially with Ringo and Ronnie Woods showing up also. So close yet so far - lol. Anyway, got back late last night from a wonderful time in London. We stayed at The Reubens (Buckingham Palace) and it is really great hotel and the staff is fantastic and so friendly. Saw several shows (Hamilton, War Horse, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child) and the Royal Ballet Company (The Nutcracker). I was impressed how beautifully decorated London is for Christmas, also went by the "Winter Wonderland" which was fun. My wife arranged a private tour of Hampton Court that was fantastic and it was on a day where it was not crowded which made it even nicer. This was my third time in London and finally got to go on the London Eye and got some really cool pictures. Of course, what is a visit to London without taking in museums, went to British War Musuem, Victoria And Albert Musuem and British National Museum. Did a bunch of other things but will stop since this is a Paul McCartney thread - lol.
I hope you crossed Abbey Road and went inside the Abercrombie Kids at 3 Savile Row!

Just a note that my new profile picture is at Hampton Court with my wife.

Love Hampton Court! Have been there 4 times since 1980. When I took my 19-year old twins in July 2006, it was incredibly hot the entire 2 weeks we were in the U.K. and as a joke I took a picture of my daughter supposedly warming herself at the big fireplace in the kitchen at Hampton Court! It was literally in the 90s every day and up to about 120 or 130 in the tube cars that weren’t air conditioned! I nearly had a heat stroke on the MMT bus in Liverpool whose a/c wasn’t working!

I loved the tour of Hampton Court and for December we had a pretty nice day, partly sunny and in the low 50's. I believe I got a picture of that big fireplace - lol.

Getting back to topic...I just saw a clip of Rami Malek being interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel after his Golden Globe win & he said he was at Paul's show & he got invited backstage at this show. Paul said let's do our best pose & have a pic taken. He said some photographer took his & Paul's picture & he WANTS A COPY! It was probably Paul's photographer, MJ Kim.

I attended the show at the O2 arena and posters were put up that the show would be filmed. Are there any news on a release date? Or will it be scrapped?
Thanks, Milo

I could be wrong (and probably am ) but those posters could be in place at every concert as every show is filmed to be shown simultaneously on the big screens. Some of the shots must capture the audience hence the posters, just in case anyone objects. However, there's no reason why this live footage shouldn't be made into a film for a commercial release at a later date. I just don't think the O2 gig was any different to others on the tour.
