What an amazing evening. My seat (bought randomly though the AXS pre-sale) was the front row of a balcony, so I had an unobstructed view the whole time. Ringo sat across the arena from me and it was fun seeing his reactions during the show, such as clapping along to "Fuh You" and laughing at some of Paul's jokes.

It was quite surreal looking at Paul and Ringo throughout the evening, but when the extra drum kit was brought onstage and they played "Get Back" together (with Ron Wood) it was a dream come. I never thought I would ever see that, so it will forever remain the highlight of all my McCartney concerts.

Here's one that includes Paul's introductions of Ronnie Wood and Ringo

That must have been SOOO exciting. What a thrill for everyone that attended. Hope it happens again sometime! They all look like they were really having a good time up there. Loved the smiles between Paul & Ringo, you could see the connection they felt.

Pauls voice sounded just a bit.......ummm.....off.

Was this show professionally recorded for a potential release?

Never thought I would get to see Paul and Ringo perform live together. Was so pleased to witness that.

Wonder when it last happened over here.

Would've been at concert for George in 2002. I was at that one too but this time was front so just combusted really! Plus he'd just acknowledged my bday in his patter before playing "birthday" (said "ere ah theres one ere!"  then also said "there's you, appy birthday", he was speeding up his usual patter as Ringo was due in 2 songs i guess, but managed to splurt that out, i was in dreamland! I think my sign went on teh screen for that too, got no pics, but wow.. just wow.

so i still actually think the whole night must've been a dream. I mean, it did all happen, yes?!

What about Paul playing with Ringo his 70th birthday in 2010? And then they played together on the Grammys Salute to the Beatles in 2014. (Oh, reread and I see they wrote “over here.”)  Sorry!

Really glad for you to have had that experience!

AND...did you all see John Hammel brought Paul his guitar? For old times sake, I guess.

Thanks, Oobu, for pointing out John Hammel! Here he is close up at that moment in this video. It features John giving the guitar to Paul  before  Birthday, but Birthday is cut. The video is editted to show Wonderful Christmastime next.

Yes he only did the guitar handover at that bit. I guess he's Paul's best mate and wanted to be there for his last UK show (hopefully not ever...) and with Ringo being there it's as if it was a bit of a party for them.

And yes wow i've seen that video posted further above!!!!! I did the sign for the soundcheck really, as based on my one soundcheck in 2015 he used to read them out quite straight, and i thought if he reads it straight out then he'dve done what it asks without having to work at it! But it turns out in soundcheck  he didn't read things out loud (though he did say there's a birthday), so i had to give it a go before the song in the gig! I've not been a sign person before this tour, and here i am with 2! The River mention in Glasgow was incredible! But i'm happy with this little birthday bit too. It's still a bit of a blur tbh 😉

                                    .

Will actually be in London tomorrow (traveling from the US) and just curious as to where the arena  is in London. Got busy 6 days in London with theater, ballet and seeing the sights. Looking forward to being in London during Christmas season.

You'll have a great time, lots of stuff to see if you haven't been before.

Would have loved to have "scalped" a ticket especially with Ringo and Ronnie Woods showing up also. So close yet so far - lol. Anyway, got back late last night from a wonderful time in London. We stayed at The Reubens (Buckingham Palace) and it is really great hotel and the staff is fantastic and so friendly. Saw several shows (Hamilton, War Horse, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child) and the Royal Ballet Company (The Nutcracker). I was impressed how beautifully decorated London is for Christmas, also went by the "Winter Wonderland" which was fun. My wife arranged a private tour of Hampton Court that was fantastic and it was on a day where it was not crowded which made it even nicer. This was my third time in London and finally got to go on the London Eye and got some really cool pictures. Of course, what is a visit to London without taking in museums, went to British War Musuem, Victoria And Albert Musuem and British National Museum. Did a bunch of other things but will stop since this is a Paul McCartney thread - lol.
