Flowers in the Dirt reissue confirmed (as we'd been expecting) might 1 song from it sneak it's way into the 2017 setlist..??
Hopefully! I hope "My Brave Face", "Figure of Eight" or "This One"
Any of those would be cool but out of the three I reckon the most likely is 'This One'. It's probably the easiest one to sing. The phrasing makes it pretty easy to do live. Lots of gaps in between each line. It's also a great song!
I'm doubtful on it. ToW & PoP did nothing, mind you maybe cause of WOA remaster, Hi, Hi, Hi & Listen to What the Man Said came back? I think he should just do 1 or 2 songs from that album as it was performed on a very successful tour & is from a very successful album, but it's not Beatles songs sadly. He'll definitely have plenty fans at each gig that'll know these songs. I really thought the reaction to him doing Temporary Secretary would've encouraged him to do more solo songs but sadly not
Unfortunately he had to sandwich that song in between Beatles songs and with an all-telling introduction about how the crowd would go silent for the upcoming song... It sums it up, I'm afraid.

Oh, I thought he played it at the early spot in between previously 'Got To Get You Into My Life' and 'Paperback Writer' etc. Point still stands.

Hearing Temporary Secretary has to be my favorite Paul concert moment.... Hope he has some more breakout moments...there are so many songs!!! Some of those concert people could use a education on the many variations of Paul McCartney Another great concert memory was when he was playing songs from Rushes in Italy...That just blew my mind too...and looking around at the other people who also knew what they were hearing... We were Tripping The Light Fantastico!!!

That was a stunning moment for me as well, was absolutely gobsmacked when Temporary Secretary played. I'm seeing Elvis Costello on the 18th of March & I'm banking more on him that he'll be more likely to talk about FITD at his show instead of Paul

Saw Elvis twice in 2011 with his Revolver Spin the Wheel tour. He had about 50 songs and invited audience members to Spin the Wheel and the band would perform the song that the wheel landed on... The person who spun the wheel, would then get to dance in a go-go cage after drinking some mysterious beverages onstage. During one song, he would wend his way through the close packed audience with lights and camera on him as the crowd was dancing. It was soooooo cool and random. Really enjoyed that tour !!

This is a solo show of him at a Theatre in Edinburgh so it'll be different but I'm looking forward to it

My cousin told me that if Paul plays in LAhe would take me to see him!!!! PAUL Please come to LA!!!!!! I want to see you!!!!! I'm going to keep checking for LA dates!!!

I asked the trustworthy Fans on the Run & they told me that the current speculation is Australia (as we all knew) & Japan. Appears to be the most sensible options for him next year just now. He's always a massive success in Japan, selling out the Tokyo Dome for three nights. And I imagine if the promoters push the Australian tour a lot it'll be huge considering the Rolling Stones sold out 8 shows in Australia & New Zealand. Hope you Australians get some shows, you guys deserve it! All the best for 2017

Not sure this rumor should be 2016 or 2017. But I hear that Paul might have a tv appearance on 12/31. Not sure what it's about..................but I have a sneaking suspicion

and that date just happens to be a Saturday night.

UK or US tv? Or perhaps Australia? He's in St. Barts at the moment but of course he could do a remote or fly somewhere if needed.

Jools' Hootenanny is always recorded weeks before broadcast. This year it took place at 7 December. The last few years all details slipped out after recording, and the announced line-up for this year is: Chaka Khan, Christine and the Queens, Roy Wood, Rag'n'Bone Man, Gregory Porter, Martin Fry's ABC, Dr. John Cooper Clarke & Hugh Cornwell, Caravan Palace, Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey from UB40, Imelda May, Ruby Turner, and the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards. Any big US NYE shows?

If not the US, maybe it's somewhere unexpected?

There isn't a new SNL on this Saturday night, just a repeat 12:30-2:04 am, so it's not that.

I was at the O2 last year as well, celebrating my 50th birthday, and was shocked with Temporary Secretary. I can remember listening to it on the album when I was 15. I admit it took me a few seconds to recognize it and then explain it to my wife. Of the 5 times I have seen Paul live, the show at the O2 was by far the best. An unforgettable evening. We had floor seats about 25 rows from the stage. Hopefully there will be more shows beginning early 2017

Hi! I see we were at the same show in 1993 and a day apart in 2002. I missed the 2005 show as I had 2 kids in college then and thought it was too expensive! Ha! Then I end up doing 2 sound checks in 2013 and 2014!
