How do you get tickets?

OK, so this is a bit late in the game to be messaging about this, but how in the world do you get tickets to the Freshen Up tour? Let me explain: We tried. I tried online. I tried the presale. Then we tried the general sale. I had my phone going and my tablet and was set up 30 minutes before "go time" to try and get tickets. My husband stood in line at the appointed venue. The result? My husband was told, "Sorry, only single seats are left". All I was able to accomplish was receiving a message stating that the tickets I had selected went to another fan. Over and over I received that message. I kept trying. Finally after 1 hour of trying to teach and get tickets, I gave up. I tried again in the evening hoping among hopes to try and get tickets again, only to see that the tickets were now double in price. I tried again late at night, thinking, well, maybe there's less of a demand at this time. But nope. Same thing. I can't afford the prices that are listed. Not for 2 people, well, really not even for 1. I am heartbroken, but more than that, disheartened. How in the world did getting tickets for Sir Paul get this complicated, and expensive? I have 2 venues that I tried THIS time, and each one, same problem. Mind you, this is my third year trying and coming up with the same result. What have others done to just get some bloody tickets? This was not the case when Paul was going through CrowdSurge.
Looking for Madison/Green Bay tickets.

Kathi, were you trying to get regular tickets? That might be the problem. For the past 4 times getting tickets I got Hot Sound Package (3 times, 1 seat only) and for 2019 got 2 Gold V.I.P. seats, all without any problems. I’m sorry you were unable to get 2 seats together. I don’t understand why Ticketmaster switched to this new method. The previous way it was done worked great!

Yes, just plain old, I would like to see Paul and his band, tickets. I have a mid price range, not a package/VIP range. One used to be able to get tickets that were accessible, and affordable. (Note the disappointment)

Yeah, I’m afraid you’re correct. But I don’t miss having to queue for lottery tickets! There were service charges unless you purchased directly at the venue, but never too much. Then with the Internet, the service charges just got higher and higher, and now are ridiculous! (Not to mention the actual cost of the ticket!)

At a time when so much has changed in our culture to dividing us into the "haves" and the "have nots," this is more of the same. C'mon Paul!

For those still looking, I would highly recommend checking out StubHub and any other reseller websites the day of the show. I've seen previously unaffordable tickets go way down in price the day of!

Since tickets went on sale so far in advance I imagine there will be fans on this site who need to sell their tickets once it gets closer to the date(s) and people find they can not go. There is a thread dedicated to fans selling their tickets at face value. Good luck.

I don't think that is the case here. Even if you "have" you can still miss out on getting tickets.

I also recommend regularly checking TM during the month prior to the concert. There usually are tickets that become available.
