I got the early bird announcement, but NO JOY. Everything I tried, no seats available. I tried going through "crowdsurge", ticketmaster, even American Experess -- no help. I went to to a 3rd party site and got really crappy seats, which I thought was a fair price, $12 taxes. As soon I clicked on purchase, I got a $300 surcharge. What!?!? I know Sir Paul has no cognizance of this sort of thing whatsoever, so I am not blaming Paul. I finally got to see him last July in DC, and it was a very tearful, lovely concert for me -- a life long dream. Dear Diary: I am 51 years years old. I served my country for 33 years. I am dying of liver cancer. All I wanted is to have have six seats together so that my family could enjoy my enthusiasm of seeing Paul McCartney play my wedding song once again, "And I love Her". Seeing him all of us separated in crappy seats for $2000 is still seeing him. I don't really know what I'm wanking about, other than be disappointed and wanting to vent somewhere. What I wouldn't give to have two seconds of his eyes to mine. But what do I have to give? Nothing left. My life is over, but I want to put love and hope and optimism into my children and loved ones. I put on the brave face.

"And I Love Her", my wedding song when I got married. And I will always love her. (Married Nov 2009)

Yes, repeating what rich said - Thank you for your service and I hope you can beat your cancer! But do NOT give up on tickets! That was only the presale you were trying for! Today there is another presale - the code is outthere You can only buy a max of 4 tickets under that code, but perhaps you can buy 3 and 3, or 2 and 4, or 2 and 2 and 2. I just looked and there are mezzanine seats available, 4 together. Same with the American Express presale. And the regular onsale for tickets is Monday, June 30, at 10 AM Eastern time, so you can try again on Monday for regular-priced tickets. It can be hard to get 6 seats together, especially good ones, so if you can split up your group, you may have better luck. The show is not until October, so that also gives you time to keep looking. I hope you get your tickets!

I am SO sorry you were the victim of an unscrupulous ticket scalper...scum of the earth. Maybe you can try to get tickets when they go on sale to the general public on Monday and somehow get out of the deal with the scammer. My thoughts are with you.

You're just setting yourself up for heartache if you stick with 6 together as a requirement!! You gotta be more flexible! You have a bigger success rate searching individual seats or pairs. It can be done, I know huge families who get everybody in this way. I wish you great success and healing!!

First, I thank you for your service and I'm sorry for your illness. But as Jena said, trying for 6 seats together is asking for disappointment or a huge scalper price. Go with pairs and you will all be in the same building. The pre-sales I know about have a 4 ticket limit, so those were never going to happen. The more tix you want together, the worse the seats get. Go for it but with another angle and outlook!
