BEATLES lost clip "Top of the Pops"

Only 11 seconds and no sound, but film footage of that live June 16, 1966 performance on Top of the Pops was thought to be lost. Still, the article says they were miming to Paperback Writer, perhaps having recorded the music earlier to use for the TV appearance? I read that was standard practice for all TV performers at that time?

In the photo from that day, they had no guitar cords plugged in and no visible amps either, so must have been miming.
