Paul McCartney 2012 Rumours

5th-beatle:
I have read that the company that brought Paul to perform in Brazil in 2010/2011/2012 is in negotiations with MPL Tours for more concerts in three cities next year.

No need to roll eyes...they are a strong market, and have a blast at the shows...yeah, they go over the top. But why not go back in 2013?

I agree. McCartney has said more than once he enjoys playing Latin America because those markets are "untouched" by him so it reminds him of Beatlemania when he goes there and plays.

why don't we in America remind Paul of Beatlemania, hmm?

Cos you don't throw yourself infront of Paul's tour bus, try to mob him as soon as he steps out of the hotel door and queue up outside the hotel/arena from the min you hear Paul's coming. You're just not committed enough... :

Beside that, if you'd watch bootleg dvds of the concerts you'd spot the differences in a flash.

And because Americans don't get GA shows like in SA so they can't go crazy.

How's it going, my fellow Elvis bro? I have a question regarding the Latin regard for McCartney's solo catalog: Would the crowd totally eat up a solo/Wings-heavy show, or is the South American crowd ga-ga only for Beatles music...and "Hope Of Deliverance"? Seriously. Because if Paul revised his stadium-show setlist -- and the South American audiences responded well to it -- I'm all for Paul returning to you guys sooner rather than later.

Hi Audese, great to read you again! Well, I think if Paul did something like "No more lonely nights" or "Beautiful night" or even "Pipes of peace" the audience would go absolutely mad! People here love Paul and will go crazy even if he sits down and reads the phone book.

Why not? I've seen several concerts on DVD with general admission (not by Paul)

Yeah, nothing says committed fan more than throwing yourself in front of a tour bus. Good stuff.

I still think my suggested closer of Beautiful Night / The End would be AWESOME! Listen!
