Paul McCartney 2012 Rumours
-
There is no news from Montevideo. It suppose that yesterday 15 they'll sign the agreement, well if they don't say anything i imagine they don't signed it..

Apparently the reason why the tour dates haven't been posted on the official website yet is because of negotiations for concerts in Argentina and Peru.

Dammit, suspense is killing me.

Latest news: Paul's concerts in Recife will be on April 20 and 21, the same dates of his historic 1990 concerts in Rio de Janeiro.

The company that promotes Paul's shows here in Brazil (PlanMusic) posted on their website today that there's absolutely nothing confirmed yet - though they're negotiating it - and that everything the Brazilian press has said so far regarding this matter did not come from them, nor is it official. Also, I'm finding it really weird all the rumours about Paul in Recife, because the rumoured stadium (Arruda) would have to undergo huge changes, which would demand a great deal of time and money, to be able to host such an event. It's not impossible, but it's not as easy as it was with Beira Rio, Morumbi and Engenhão either.

IS there any other stadium in Recife, Mandy?

Yes, and it's actually bigger and better than Arruda Stadium, but it's currently closed, since it's under reform for the 2014 World Cup (like most good stadiums here in Brazil, lol).

Exactly! That's why I keep saying CALM DOWN, people! I'm from Brazil and sure I'd love to see him play here for the 3rd year in a row, BUT there's nothing official, nothing confirmed and even the promoters have said so, though we all know there are big chances he'll come back this year. Like somebody said a few pages back, the build up to a Paul McCartney show is really fun too, but most fans here in Brazil are taking these concerts and dates for granted, which is bad, because if they don't get confirmed, the frustration will be even bigger. So, once again: CHILL OUT! lol

Hum, there is an answer in the rumor. According to information I had, the dates of Recife are April 21 & 22

It's not true that Paul doesn't play two consecutive nights in a row. Just last year he did two nights one after the other in NYC, Chicago and Montreal.

Why is he already going back to Mexico/Brazil, yet he hasn't been anywhere beyond California on the west coast in forever, Kinda weak if you ask me.
