Concert programes do you still buy one

Not any more - little too expensive these days! Might sell more of them if they bundled them into a package - T-shirt, hat, and program, for example, for a predetermined price. Sound good? :

Was the new program $25 or $30?

Pretty sure someone said it was $30. ETA: Yeah, gnome on pg. 1 of this thread.

$30. It is a thicker book than the Up and Coming program. The ad for the upcoming revamped website does mention streaming audio, HD video, exclusive content, so yes I would say it is going to be cloud based. BTW the tour is sponsored globally by HP. There are pins and keyrings and starting at $15, coffee mug; I don't remember seeing a tote bag, water bottles but I don't know how much those were. Not every stand had all the items. Program is $30. The shirts average $40 and there is a hoodie or two but those are closer to $70. The ballcaps are distressed, meaning they are made to have that worn look and have this frayed edge on the bill. Those were $40! I bought my program at the stadium at the outside kiosk and went back to the car to put it in the trunk.

I just bought one and it's really quite good!! Met two girls on the train and they liked it too... told them to go to the store, I hope they are selling them at the store now!!

In the program is an announcement of the new PaulMcCartney.com coming in the fall...and it looks like you may have to have a paying subscription. It's not completely clear from the ad, but it does mention exclusive content, etc.
A subscription?! Seriously, MORE money from us?! It's getng ridiculous.
Very true and I will leave along with many others (like he needs the money -lol). A lot of websites (exp -ESPN) charge for being a "insider" which gives you access to "special" information. IMO - they will probably still let you view things and post on this board but the people that "pay" will get exclusives on things and information.

If I want a concert programme; I usually can find them under $1.00 after the fact at the flea market, Winners; used book stores or used clothing/merchandise stores etc.
-
I would love to have a program from the new tour, but I live in Brazil. If someone is willing to buy one for me, I will pay for it and for postage as well. Please send me a PM.

Were the programs $25 or $30?
Yes, the programs were $30. I think that is a bit high, but bought one anyway as I have a program from every tour I attended including Shea Stadium 1965. The programs at Citifield were $30 and I did not buy one there, but went to Fenway a week or so later where I got one for $25...don't know why they were different prices but glad I only paid $25 as I feel that is plenty for a program. T shirts were all $40 with the exception of the Baseball shirt which was $55. All XXL sizes were $5 more respectively. There was a sweatshirt with hood for $85 and a long sleeved shirt with a hood for $55. I thought $40 for the distressed baseball cap was also high..really worth $25-$30 but not $40 IMO!! The key ring I got last tour was $5 and the cheapest one this tour is $7 and most of them were $15. The $10 poster was the best value of all of the items but I do not have an inch of wall space left to use another poster. I got two shirts and the program in NY. We are going to both Montreal shows but figured it would be more expensive there as I think the Canadian Dollar is actually a few cents more than the US Dollar at the moment and if I used a cc they would charge the foreign transaction fees, too. I did find different style shirts inside the stadium than they had at the outdoor souvenier booths and other items like a set of collectible pins for $20 for four pins and laptop covers etc.

Well, most major artists have subscription sites, as I have pointed out over and over again. We have been very fortunate to have a free site for such a long time.I`m broke, but I would be quite happy if this were a subscription site... People here lament the passing of the Fun Club, but that wasn`t free. Paying could mean some of the perks people on here are always asking for like exclusive shows. How could that happen with a free site?

It would be easier if I could have some of my paycheck on direct deposit to Sir Paul's account!

If you don't find one here, try eBay.

I think Paul's has always been the best program to buy. At least they seem to go to the effort of actually writing articles and having interesting interview through-out. I bought a few Oasis program's in my time and all thye have are pictures???!!!

There's nothing from the On The Run tour there, just stuff from Up And Coming.

I have tried, but they are asking twice the original price. Besides, most of the other items being sold at Yankee Stadium is not available on ebay.
