How many different songs have you seen live @ Maccas gigs?
-
Simple question, how many different songs have you seen live at Pauls concerts? And what were they? Obviously if you've been to multiple shows there are songs that you'll have seen multiple times but I was wondering how many different songs you've seen overall. So far I've been to 4 Macca gigs: 05/04/03 - Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (Back in the World tour) 29/05/03 - Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (Back in the World tour) 01/06/08 - Liverpool Anfield Stadium (Liverpool Sound concert) 20/06/10 - Glasgow Hampden Park (Up and Coming tour) And I've seen 59 different songs live: A Day In The Life / Give Peace a Chance All My Loving And I Love Her Back in the USSR Band on the Run Birthday Blackbird C Moon Calico Skies Can't Buy Me Love Dance Tonight Day Tripper Drive My Car Eleanor Rigby Every Night Flaming Pie Get Back Getting Better Got To Get You Into My Life Hello Goodbye Helter Skelter Here Today Here, There and Everywhere Hey Jude Highway Hippy Hippy Shake I Saw Her Standing There I'll Follow the Sun In Liverpool I've Got a Feeling I've Just Seen a Face Jet Lady Madonna Let Em In Let It Be Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady Letting Go Live and Let Die Lonely Road Maybe I'm Amazed Michelle Mrs Vandebilt Mull of Kintyre My Love Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five Ob La Di, Ob La Da Paperback Writer Penny Lane Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band / The End Sing the Changes Something The Fool on the Hill The Long and Winding Road Two of Us Venus and Mars / Rock Show We Can Work It Out Yesterday You Never Give Me Your Money / Carry That Weight Your Loving Flame

3 shows in 3 different tours, with just about 15 'unique' songs in total, which says enough about the rotation of his setlist, to be fair, haha. Venus and Mars / Rock Show All My Loving Letting Go Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five Let ?Em In I?m Looking Through You Two Of Us Magical Mystery Tour Only Mama Knows Flaming Pie (I Want To) Come Home And I Love Her Can't Buy Me Love Cosmically Conscious I Saw Her Standing There With A Little Help From My Friends

Kinda funny...I used your signature, and did some quick setlist searching...you really have heard 51 songs!! And theres only one difference from my list to yours! I heard Michelle and Fedex Field, and you got to hear Two of Us on the Up and Coming Tour!
-
Did Paul really sing Two of Us on the Up & Coming tour? Is it sad I don't remember? Someone do the math for me, lmao. I saw the '02, '03, '05, '09, '10, and '11 tours.

I'm too lazy too to figure it out! If you feel inspired WixRocks, check out my list below and "do me." (that sounded wrong since I think you're young enough to be my son!) ops:

Okay, okay, I'll do both of you! BarbB- what shows were you at? (And yes, Two of us was played every other night primarily, on the up and coming tour) and Nancy- considering you saw Wings over America...I probably could be!!!

Hippy, Hippy Shake Jet Drive My Car Flaming Pie Got To Get You Into My Life Let Me Roll It My Love C Moon Long And Winding Road Dance Tonight Blackbird Calico Skies In Liverpool Follow The Sun Eleanor Rigby Something Penny Lane Band On The Run Back In The USSR Live And Let Die Let It Be Hey Jude Yesterday A Day In The Life/Give Peace a Chance Lady Madonna I Saw Her Standing There Magical Mystery Tour Only Mama Knows Highway (I Want to) Come Home And I Love Her Mrs Vandebilt Sing the Changes Wonderful Christmastime Ob-la-di Ob-la da I've Got a Feeling Paperback Writer Day Tripper Get Back Helter Skelter Sgt Pepper/The End Venus and Mars/Rock Show All My Loving Letting Go 1985 Let Em In I'm Looking Through You Two of Us Honey Hush One After 909 Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying Maybe I'm Amazed I've Just Seen a Face Hitch Hike 54 in total. Doing this has really highlighted that he did change the set between 08 and 09, and I guess the change from '09 to '10 was good in the first half of the show but the second half has been the same for three years now. That's where the problem lies. I was also lucky to hear a few different songs at the O2 Academy. There were so many good songs played in 02/03, 04 and 05 that have just been forgotten about. Can't Buy Me Love, Birthday, We Can Work it Out, Penny Lane, For No One, Here There and Everywhere, Every Night, Good Day Sunshine, Please Please Me, Too Many People, She Came In Through the Bathroom Window, Letting Go etc etc and off course there are the songs we would all love to hear like Junk, Listen to What the Man Said, Silly Love Songs, Another Day etc etc. My point is that he could easily freshen up the second half of the show by reintroducing some of the old favs from past tours and only learning a couple of new songs. Surely that wouldn't be too much work and isn't too much to ask?
-
Exactly. Paul- if there is a post to read it is the one above this one!!!
-
My mind is blown. Thank you, wix!

Wow, this is quite a lot of work to figure out! Maybe I'm too lazy too LOL.

Nah, it'd be good. It's only boring when I sit back and think about it..and some of the early Beatle songs are boring..that's all.

I distinctly remember the '05 tour and Paul promoting C&C. I was the only one standing up singing during Fine Line, Jenny Wren, etc. I was like..wtf is wrong with the people up here.
