How many different songs have you seen live @ Maccas gigs?
-
Those are old numbers. I have seen Paul once or twice since the list was originally made. Don't have the time or energy to figure out correct #. Somebody else originally figured out a bunch of people's based on the shows they'd been to.
-
I'm at 102 without the show I saw in Dallas in about 1985 (give or take. I know we took my daughter and she was about 12 at the time) and I'm missing the Tulsa soundcheck.

Seeing people count the songs they have heard Paul do in concert made me first think that I haven't updated my list in quite awhile (actually I never did it to begin with, I think Darth did it) BUT...it also made me laugh to think of how many songs he hasn't played live & how many he has written. I wonder if there actually is a list with a total number somewhere. We had a topic about it here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85010
-
My total is now 88 after the Paris show, they are;
Who cares, Fuh you, come onto me, Let em in, From me to you and Michelle
-
I suppose some unique ones I saw in Charlotte 2010 were Sing the Changes, Highway and My Love as they've not been played much since then, or at all. I never did really "get" Sing the Changes, understand it. Not at that time or when EA came out, but haven't heard it much since then, maybe I'd like it more, now. "Highway" was unusual sounding to me as well, being improvised electronica tech dance music, or whatever you call it. I always fancied it more than "Sing the Changes." It was a huge thrill to hear "My Love." A big thrill to hear anything and everything since it was my first Macca concert (the best concert of my life!) and seeing him in Raleigh this coming May 27 will be my second.

OK. I am now at 137 + 12 soundcheck.
Added: Who Cares, Come on to Me, Fuh You, From Me To You. (show) Miss Ann, Alligator, Ram On (soundcheck)
-
10 years of seeing the show across 7 tours in 10 countries on 3 continents, 20 shows... and still only at 90 songs from which 30 only once or twice :').
And I count about 15-20 songs I've heard from visible and audible open-air soundchecks and rehearsals, like I captured in Perth last year (
), so I guess that counts.Would it kill to just once add 'Coming Up' instead of 'Let Me Roll It', once 'Things We Said Today' instead of 'Eleanor Rigby'...

How many times can some of these items be reported? My pet peeve is the embedding of youtubes. Why have a special button for it if it only lasts a half hour? But...I'm getting off topic.

There used to be a guy on here who would look at the concerts you’d been to and tell you how many you’d heard. He also compiled a list of everybody and who had heard how many songs. I was up there fairly close to the top since I saw him in 1976. I just don’t want to take the time to figure it out now!

I used Paul concerts I have attended from 2008-2015 to test data analysis software. I would have to physically count how many different songs there were, but I can say that he played 65% Beatles, 20% Wings, 14% solo, and 1% other.

5 different songs from Let It Be;
4 each from Abbey Road, the White Album, Sgt Pepper's;
