Oh! I'm shock now!!! My dream is coming true!!!! I' m counting out days for April 21...and is true, if the tickets went sold out soon it's possible that there are a new show. The place Movistar Arena was original one tennis arena, but now was moved to a concert house, many people has been there and is better than National Colisseum, the place where he was in 1993 and 2011, because is more small and you a have a better view, the sound is not so good but I know that Paul's sound man is very good, I trust that there is not problem with this topic.

Wow...can't recall any other "small arena" shows in South America!
Me neither. Someone has mentioned that it (Movistar Arena) is one of the best (if not THE finestl) places for a concert in all of South America. Has anyone here been there who can provide more info?
As I said before, people says the sound is an issue if the sound man are not good...I know that this is not the case...

Arenas are rarely, if ever, designed for music. With that dome, expect sound waves to bounce everywhere!

Just 10.000 tickets will be offered for this concert. Correction: just 9.999, as 1 will be mine. Saludos!
Congratulations to the fans in Chile, and to you too 5th Beatle! Have you seen him in a small arena or just outdoor stadiums?
-
I've always seen him in outdoor stadiums. I'm so excited I don't know where I'll get the USD 880 for the ticket! lol
-
Maybe Paul is doing a "pre show" or something like that and this is why he needs an arena. I kind of hope he has a pre show film cause it's not as exciting when he just walks out?.hmmm?. I don't know. I am also a little insecure about the tour name since it's pretty much the same as last year. I'm guessing the setlist will be the same with a few NEW songs. I thought we were going to get a whole new tour with a new name, new setlist, new pre show, etc. I guess we'll have to see what happens?.
-
The only reason he's doing an arena in Chile is that promoters don't think he can fill a 50k stadium after slow sales in 2011 and the fact that they can get away charging almost USD 1000 a ticket.

Probably the same show and set list as Japan. Just guessing. Still, that looked like a fantastic show, with four NEW songs, add "Early Days" and it's five. Not bad!

...or possibly "On My Way To Work" and "Alligator", both of which he soundchecked in Japan would be real nice!

Here is some info on Movistar Arena: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movistar_Arena
That has a real sixties look to it, reminiscent of some Beatles venues (Civic Arena in Pittsburgh and Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis come to mind).

Reminds me of the Cinerama in Los Angeles:

Interesting. I looked at photos of the inside of this arena, and it looks like you can't hand speakers or lights from the roof, or dome. There is no rigging for it. Here is a photo: http://panoye.s3.amazonaws.com/2908_panorama.jpg This is possibly what Paul's stage might look like when he plays there.

Today I was denied vacation days at work to to go to Chile. I guess I will have to quit my job and go live with Audi in the USA.

I'm sorry to hear that. What about Uruguay, then?
-
I face that problem at my job, I can't miss two days to attend an out of town concert. My vacation time is not what it used to be when I was a teacher, so I have to be very careful about using up days.
