I don't think that the "early entry" tickets are worth the value. You can have a very good spot with the 120€ ticket.
I always buy early entry. I am too old for queuing for hours
you will end at 2nd or 3rd row, because the soundcheckers are in earlier than the early entriers.
So, if i should buy the hot sound standing i'd have the best chance to be on the rail for the main concert?

Does anyone know the capacity of this venue or how many people are expected on this square? Will this be a bigger venue than Lucca or the other way round? I read somewhere that about 45.000 people are the max. capacity in Lucca. I truly wish Paul did an arena tour instead of these huge festivals and stadiums... but still better than nothing.

I seem to remember the local promoter mentioning that around 22,500 tickets were made available.

Thank you, it doesn't sound that bad.

Yes indeed. The area itself doesn't look that big, so I think everyone will get a good view. Perhaps someone who has been to Piazza Plebiscito can offer a more accurate perspective?

When are the tickets going on sale? Are there going to be any other Italy locations, like the Lucca one mentioned ?
When I was in Naples in about 12 yrs ago...at that time, the local people gave me the impression that as a woman alone, they were worried that my purse could be stolen, when I put it on a countertop in a shop, while I was standing next to it. Are there still similar concerns in Naples? Just wondering?
Tickets are going on sale next friday at 10 a.m.
I live in North Italy and i often go to Naples because i love it and its people . Naples is as dangerous as all the other cities in the world. Everywhere nowadays you have to look after your belongins.
I was in Naples for the first time ever last September, I live in the US. Anyway, had a wonderful time there but I actually stoppped a picketpocket from trying to take something out of my sister in-laws bag. I caught the guy going for her bag and slapped his hand away, he gave me a quick look and then moved on. I was a "hero" for a day -lol.

A nice drawing of Napoli and Paul's bass:

(versione italiana) "I biglietti venduti sono già più di dodicimila, a fronte di una capienza che potrebbe raggiungere le 25 mila unità"
https://napoli.repubblica.it/cronaca/2020/01/02/news/napoli_in_musica_ecco_tutti_i_concerti_del_2020-244787990/?refresh_ce"The tickets sold are already more than twelve thousand, against a capacity that could reach 25 thousand units".
I saw here that the local promoter mentioning that around 22,500 tickets were made available, but the news said that capacity that could reach 25 thousand units. My doubt is: What is the correct ?

Hi all! This newbie would greatly appreciate some help from the Macca fanbase because, honestly, I don't know whom else to ask. (I've written quite a lot, but replying shouldn't take you long.)
Long story short, I'm in my early 20s and a huge Paul fan who was giving up any hope of ever getting to see him (since he never comes remotely close to where I live and he's unlikely to keep doing great shows by the time I start making my own money) when, all of a sudden, my parents say they want to pay me all the expenses as a b-day present (it's literally the only expensive thing I've ever asked for). Yay!
I'm almost certain that I want to go to Naples, with Barcelona as plan B.
As this is a one-in-a-lifetime thing for me (I'll never be a fan on the run, I'm afraid), I want to make sure that I don't make a mistake choosing the type of tickets. My goal is to be as close to Paul as possible to enjoy the experience.
After some research I've reached some conclusions and I would highly appreciate if one (or more!) of you could confirm or refute them.
1. If I chose not to be standing, my seats would be extremely far away from the stage: https://www.eventtravel.com/piazza-plebiscito-naples. Considering the prices of both regular and VIP tickets, it seems a bit counter-intuitive, but the map is the map. Right?
2. GA Standing would mean saving some money, but my Paul experience would basically be watching the screens (with the real-life Paul very far away), no matter how much in advance I arrive. Wouldn't it?
3. Regular Pit tickets would allow me to be on the 3rd row from the stage (behind soundcheckers), as long as I am willing to queue for... 10 hours?
4. Hot Standing is the same as regular Pit, but with no queues. Right? My issue with this is that Eventtravel speaks of "PIT GA", which is a weird mixture between two different kinds of positions, but I believe it means Pit (am I wrong?).
5. Soundchecks are worth it if you can afford them. I've read some reviews of people complaining that they were insanely far away from stage, that they had to wait long hours before Macca showed up and so on. However, even if that's true (is it?), you get an extra hour of live Macca music (with storytelling, maybe?) and, more importantly, 1st or 2nd rows guaranteed. Right?
6. If 1, 4 and 5 are true, Hot Sound Standing is supposed to be the best possible ticket for me, but probably Hot Standing wouldn't be a bad choice either.
Any insights? Or do you know where I can get further info?
Thanks heaps in advance! (And apologies for my "suboptimal" English. Not my 1st language... Btw, if you reply in Italian or Spanish, it's totally ok.)
P. S.: I find the following comment of fellow user Devil a bit confusing:
I got a Hot Ticket Standing. Looks like there is a special area right next to the PIT Area (side section) and not in front of the stage. That would be very disappointing.
Can anyone explain it? How do I manage to be in front of the stage? (I assume that Macca won't move from his central position during the 3 hours...)

Hi there!
I've seen Paul live just 3 times. And the fourth is upcoming... I've bought 2 Hot Standing tickets for me and my sister on November, when they were released. After several months, I've seen that still 2 Hot Sound tickets were available... and I've decided to upgrade. For the first time in my life I will attend a soundcheck experience. I cannot imagine what does it means... is anyone so kind in helping me in figure it out?

It will be a great experience, as you will see Paul and his band soundchecking several songs that will not be included in the regular show. You will also have early entry, which means you will be closer to the stage than fans with regular tickets. You will receive an e-mail about one week before the concert with further instructions. Enjoy!
These advertising pieces are getting a lot of exposure on social media, especially the one at Piazza Plebiscito: regular travellers (not necessarily McCartney fans) get their picture taken at a tourist attraction and you see Paul's face in the background.
