Hey everyone! This is my first post here on the Maccaboard, but I imagine I'll inevitably spend a lot of time here. I've been a Beatles and Paul fan since I was eight years old, and the obsession is running as deep as ever recently. I'm really excited to get to know some of you and hopefully have some great discussion.

I'm working on a project concerning Paul's solo work and I could use your input, especially if you're very familiar with all aspects of his post-Beatles career. I've compiled this list of songs, broken up by album. As you can see, there are a few hits included, a lot of deep album tracks and B-sides, and some well-known unreleased songs as well. I'm aware that it looks completely random, but it should all make sense when the project is done. What I need from you is to go through this list and choose your 25 favorite songs! They do not need to be in any particular order.

If you'd like, you can comment with your top 25 in this thread, though I'd be especially happy if you filled out this Google form with your answers. Either way, I appreciate you taking the time to do it and if you're interested, I'll be sure to clue you in when the project is completed!

        nofaithmed11, Welcome to Maccaboard.

There are a bunch of Paul Solo, Wings and Post Beatles Fans on Maccaboard.  Personally, I've been a fan of Paul and the Beatles since 1964 (I was 15 years old).  For a whole host of reasons, Paul was always my favorite Beatle but I loved them all.

Recently, I did a Post here where I was proposing suggestions for a true Paul McCartney Post Beatles Anthology done by Decade.  Essentially, you would have 5 Cd's by each Decade starting with 1970-1979.  With each Decade, I was putting a CD list together of 20-25 Songs filled with Less publicized and Deeper Cuts from each Album, A & B singles not included on the corresponding albums, Unreleased songs from various album sessions, rare live versions etc etc.  I have bought almost all of Paul's albums but when it came to his Compilations I have been disatisfied for the most part.  There have too many duplications and gaps from the various eras of Paul's full career.

Anyway, please fee free to check my post and any imput would be appreciated.  Check out my 5 Decade lists and let me know if I have missed any particular favorites of yours.  This is not a "Greatest Hits" list so any suggestion would be much appreciated.  Thanks BJ Conlee

Thank you, BJ! That's a great idea on your end. I will absolutely be checking out your post to give my input. So many great songs from the 70's, it'll be tough to whittle it down.

Nothing comes up for me when I click on what's supposed to be a list.

After that,  Curiously, my predictive text came up: generous gimmick killer while major large brown good

Usually its rhyming words, so its very strange...did anyone get that list?

That's one of the more questionable predictive texts I've ever seen

              Hopefully this link works!

This is the link you need to actually answer: (the other one you just posted merely lists the songs)

                  https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/d/1CA0vJE9DuRWiRDCS4yp1gXGjQ5PtoeOkcLLCA5XgpN0/viewform?edit_requested=true

P.S. The reason I didn't do your survey is because I'm not familiar with many of the songs you listed and couldn't pick 10, let alone 25. My Love is my #1 though!

Haha that's quite alright! There are a lot of deep cuts on here, they're all worth checking out when you have the time 🙂 Thank you, Nancy!
