Posted my question while you were answering. Great for the charity! I try and watch the end of his auctions and they are usually around $25,000.00, the biggest one I saw was for the Apollo a few years back.
I remember that auction, but not the prices. It was interesting to watch the end of this one!
So were you guys one of the bidders? Or better yet maybe the lucky bidder?

Not me! Didn't bid, didn't win. I was just curious about how high it would go.

Ha! No way- but I'd sure love to know who won.

No not a winner and not a bidder. Great price for a very good charity !!

Just accidentally take too much acid at a show and you'll realize you don't need to meet him or anyone for that matter. Save $25,000.

Here is one that includes air fare. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172235039385

Wow! Never saw one on eBay. Here's another one: https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/meet-paul-mccartney-with-2-tickets-soundcheck-access-to-1062300 Still looking for someone who'd split the bid with me. PM me if interested.

All the auctions are benefiting different charities, I see. The ebay one is for Musicares, the new CharityBuzz is for PETA.

If I lose my mind in the next 9 days, I may bid on this!

This is a better deal than Charity Buzz, but I still don't have the $.

Wanna split the cost? I'm serious! There are two charity bids going on- one on eBay and one on Charitybuzz.

If I knew you personally, I'd take you up on it. (for the one with the airfare on eBay) But I can't bid $20,000 and then end up stuck with the other half.

I totally understand- I'm in the same boat! I do have some friends here on the board that can vouch for me, if that helps. If we COULD figure this out, which city would you want to go to? I already have tix for Grand Rapids, as I live in Michigan, so that would be easiest for me. I'd just try and sell the VIP tix I already have. But I'm open to other options. There must be a way to do this without either one of us getting stuck with a 20K+ bill.

I would only go to an arena show, such as Cincinnati or D.C. Can't go to Cleveland as I'm flying to London on the 18th. Like I said, I'd really need to totally lose my mind in the next week (eBay auction ends at 5 am EST June 23rd) I have to think about it. You've been on this board since 2002, but have hardly posted! You can see my count (it's ridiculous, I know!) Are you a guy Terry or a girl Terry? Plus, would they fly you from your nearest airport and me from Atlanta separately? I don't think so.
-
I'm female And I just sent you a PM with more info about me. I do have some friends on the board who would vouch for my exceptional character and good intentions. <g>. But yes, I've been around forever; I just rarely post except when I'm planning on attending his concert. Any chance you would or could go to Grand Rapids? That would solve the flight issue, as I would drive there, as I'm already in Michigan. Or would you be interested in the CharityBuzz option: https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/meet-paul-mccartney-with-2-tickets-soundcheck-access-to-1062300 That ends tomorrow and it may be more affordable unless there's a last minute bidding war (very possible). T.

Nancy R,you're going to base a decision on how many posts Terry has ? I have been here since 2002 also, (I had a problem with posting & the only answer was to start over with a new name) I usually only post when it's tour time ,because I hate the drama,I have a low number too.Terry is a wonderful person,if I could go with her I would! But I really don't want to spend $20,000 for a couple minutes & no autographs
-
Charity buzz is at $17,000 now .ebay is also at $17,000,but has more days left

That was only one of my concerns for goodness sake! And fyi, we are now FB friends and everything is cool. We have mutual friends. (and you wouldn't be spending $20,000, you'd be spending half--$10,000)
