I went to get my haircut today and due to a mix-up, my hairdresser wasn't going to be there for an hour, so I spent most of the time in my car, reading my Beatlefan magazine as it rained. By the time she got there, there was only one other woman waiting, no mask. Also saw going in and out 1 man and a woman with 2 kids about 9 and 10. No masks. I wore a mask as did the other 2 hairdressers. There's going to be so many more people getting this and so many more deaths. We need a vaccine asap!
The Rock 'N Romance cruise, which I believe did sail in Feb. 2020, just cancelled the Feb. 2021 cruise and moved it to Feb. 2022. I bet now they'll move our (rescheduled from 2020) Mar. 2021 Flower Power cruise to Mar. 2022!
Ugh, that is terrible most weren't wearing masks. I went to my salon last Saturday and because of the rules to open here in CA, they were not only wearing masks, but also face shields. Only two clients at a time are allowed in and we must wear masks as well.
Though cases are going up here in the Bay area, we are so far doing ok, but most people here wear masks. Down in SoCal though, they are having such a huge rise of cases, breaking record numbers everyday so far this week, all because they won't wear masks and social distance.

America has a disturbingly high proportion of idiots, led by the lying Idiot-in-Chief who sits in the White House. Anyone who's on Twitter and wants to follow accounts with good info and smart analysis, I highly recommend Laurie Garrett and Gregg Gonsalves.

Now they appear to be saying if you got it once, you still might get it again. This really is an ongoing worsening nightmare.

Thought we could use a little humor here!

And now, as many of us expected and feared, deaths are beginning to tick back up in the U.S. And Trump pushes to reopen the schools with no plan to do it safely. I normally would not wish harm on anyone, but at this point I'm willing to start making exceptions.

As the Corona Virus marches on, am seeing the toll and the stress in the lives of family and friends. Am trying to reach out and be a good and understanding listener, during the times that it seems overwhelming. We are in it together... you never know how important it may be, for someone to be heard, when they feel they just can't take it. Always good to check in and keep in touch! sending loving thoughts out. We can make it together.

Want to travel before COVID has a vaccine. This new technology is the type that is being used in labs.

Only $172, but might prove to be a bit cumbersome.

Just great. Now even more doubtful we'll be able to travel there next August!
Meanwhile, my state, Georgia, is one of the best in the country right now.

You might have to click on the state to see results, but only 2 states are that darker green color.

My county is finally at a level where more can open back up. Though with the cooler weather and the holidays coming up, I'm sure we will see another huge spike of cases in this country.

As we've entered Autunm and the start of the cold / flu season its always been predicted that there would be a second spike in covid-19 infections. Some places have got it worse that others but I'm sure by next August Liverpool will be fine. I'm going there next July and have no concern at all. The real problem is the business's that won't survive a long lasting lockdown.

We can only go if 2 things both happen: Beatleweek is a go, and no 14-day quarantine is required!

My facemask!

Well, "Instant Karma" for Trump!

The most important reason for wearing a mask, is that if you do get Corona Virus, they've now found that wearing a mask would strongly protect you from getting the more severe dose (compared to no protection). Resulting in a lighter or even asymptomatic case.
However, there are cases where people who were wearing masks, who turned out to have Covid, did not pass it on to the other people in the room, who were also wearing masks. Please wear a mask.

How is everyone doing with respect to what they are now calling the Covid-Anxiety? I don't have Covid, but I DO have the anxiety. With all my stresses I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Hope you all are coping well, and I have an abundance of sympathy for those who are stressed out.
