I have also heard a fantastic quality bootleg of Orlando May 19th and yes his voice waivers a little during the opening number and Maybe I'm Amazed, but overall the concert and his voice sound amazing. Whatever troubles he may have had with his voice last year seem to be over now. I only wish I could have seen one of the concerts, alas not this time. Oh and for those who dare think or even speculate it's his last tour, he makes an emphatic point to say again..."We'll see you next time!"

It is possible that this is true, when you consider that Paul did the On the Run tour until May 2012, then did the Jubilee in June and the Olympics in July, and then didn't sing again for nearly 4 months until starting up the final On the Run tour dates again -- at which time his voice was noticeably better. Throat problems would explain the Horsens cancellation, too, and the reluctance to explain that cancellation. The 4 month gap between the Olympics and his next tour dates in mid-November 2012 would have been plenty of time to have the throat nodules removed and for him to recuperate. Adele sang at the Grammy's 3 months after her throat surgery. Interesting, though, that this post suggested Paul had been ill for much of last year. Not sure what that's about since he always looks healthy.
He sounds better than he has in the past, but has anyone heard him sing "Maybe I'm Amazed" this tour. I think that would put to rest any theories about vocal surgery.

Can somebody post what time the show started and ended? Going to Brooklyn show this weekend and need to figure out bus/train schedules. Thanks!

I'll be there, too! I believe Paul doesn't usually come on until 8:30-8:40 or so, and the show is almost 3 hours, so I'm figuring it will end a bit after 11.

Closer to 2 hours and 40 minutes.... (the scrolling video pre-show started about 8:10 or 8:15.... but the real show began at 8:30 sharp... and he was done about 11:07...) Still a very respectable concert length, for ANY age...

Do you know if a boot exists of Memphis?? I would love to get my hands on it.

Ask me why it's so important to me to video the show... Even if I get the cheapest seat in the arena..I want to see what I missed during the show for after I have had my surgery..

He started at 8:30 in Memphis and finished at about 11:20.

I thought he sounded great on Maybe I'm Amazed in Memphis.

Every review I've read has said he's in good voice (for his age, of course; no one is expecting him to sound 40). And I've read a ton of comments on Twitter and Facebook, etc., saying he's singing better than he has in several years. I'll find out myself in July. But I never judge vocals off of YouTube videos of concert footage. They always sound off. And you always hear some idiots singing along in the background. And I love the set list. Its' going to be 19 songs I've never heard him do before. Bring it on.

Great audience, too.

I have an amazing recording of McCartney in Las Cruces from twenty years ago and it is most excellent! Funny, I look at that set list and people would flip if he played that today.

yes - I would love a copy of the memphis show too. If anyone knows of one PM me. I haven't seen one available yet.

Very well stated RMartinez!! I went to the Austin Shows--did soundcheck/hotsound pkg the first night. I have waited my whole life to see a Beatle in concert. I have no complaints whatsoever. I think those were 2 of the most exciting nights of music I've ever had. Yes, I'm a first-timer and yes I went with an open heart, mind and ears and got everything I was expecting and more. It was only when I came to this website's forums that I felt let down. It seems that many people here are SO jaded and just want to criticize the set list-- criticize Paul's voice-- criticize the between- song banter, yada, yada, yada!! I really feel that all of you nitpickers should stop and think about your critical stances. I think that we should feel privileged to breathe the same air to walk the same ground as this ultimate music ICON. The fact that he chooses to entertain us at almost 71 I find amazing and thrilling! Go ahead--tell me I'm all "pizza and fairy tales"--and I will thank you for it!! Peace and love, people!
Right on!

This was definitely the best I've heard Paul sound of any show of his I've seen. I don't know what he's doing, but it's working! He also looked great! (Certain people here will be happy to know he's trimmed his hair, and it looked nice and fluffy. Even the color was good!) The whole band was in good form. The sound at Barclays wasn't the best: bounced off the walls, bad reverb near me. Often too bass heavy, with other instruments buried. I heard many people say it was just too loud. I also hated my nose-bleed seats: no room to move, much too steep. If you have the slightest touch of vertigo, be forewarned. I had the pleasure of seeing Paul arrive, so that made up for my sitting so far from the stage. I did a lot of binocular viewing. Just a wonderful show! It was the first show for a friend with me, and she was quite impressed, even with Paul's interaction with the audience; said many performers she's seen don't talk to the audience at all. She also commented that Paul seems "very charming." Oh, yes indeed!

The pyros for" Live and Let Die" were different than I've seen before, and not quite as impressive as usual. I guess after that earlier show where they got blamed for scorching the arena ceiling or whatever, they had to be careful. Guess Barclays didn't want them hurting their new arena. Still fun, though.

Actually I think there are more flamepots and sparklers this year, unless they did something different in Brooklyn..

Yes, that is part of what was different than I've seen before. They seemed to rely on them, along with lasers/lights, rather than the shooting fireworks. There were a few of those, but they didn't go very high at all. I think they are just being more careful with indoor shows. Still fun, though.
