I know Macca's concerts ar awsome. I have been to one of the best days of my life. I just wished tickets were not so expensive. I just found out that the cheapest regular ticket in Porto Alegre will cost aroung USD 140 and those seats are terrible. I wish they were more affordable as our minimum monthly wage is about USD 300.

Yeah, I'm probably going to just one of the four concerts announced. Going to 4 cities in a row would be too expensive.

Thank you. Hopefully by then the upcoming album will have been released and some of those new songs will have been added to the setlist. I hope you will get to hear them live too!

Got my ticket!

It's a shame that the local producers/website is not allowing registered fans buy in the pre-sales as we were informed by e-mail. They are only allowing people with a specific card brand to purchase!

Plane tickets got cheaper and there is still one sector available for this concert. The ticket can be paid in two installments, so I'm going! Here is a recent promo video for this concert:
And here is a link I just found for Paul's message to Brazil, in HD quality: http://video30.mais.uol.com.br/16210661-7.mp4?ver=0&r=http://mais.uol.com.br -

Brazil is my favorite place in the world to see concerts. So for 4th time I am flying there to see 3 concerts -all but Salvador. Can't wait!

Due to a local law that demands musicians from the region as the opening attraction to international concerts in order to foster local culture, Paul's show in this city will include an opening act. I found out the guy's name today and I've been told he's a well-respected local musician who had a couple of bands in the 80s/90s that still has a lot of fans. He's a bass player heavily influenced by Paul's style, and he's also a music teacher at a local university. I remember watching local musicians opening Paul's shows in Uruguay, so I guess there's a similar law over there as well.

An interview recorded on September 26 to promote the October 13 concert in Porto Alegre was published today: https://gauchazh.clicrbs.com.br/cultura-e-lazer/musica/noticia/2017/10/exclusivo-o-show-sera-como-uma-festa-quero-que-todos-se-divirtam-diz-paul-mccartney-cj8es2x8a000e01mq8uw0t8m8.html The complete interview lasted almost 18 minutes and the audio of some of his answers can be heard in the link above. Unfortunately the most interesting topics (for me, at least) are not included, so I'm providing a brief translation below: Amongst other subjects, he said the song about Brazil will not be done live at the upcoming concerts in the country. About the upcoming album, he said he's got about 75% of the material for it and the album will probably be released sometime next year. This is just a summary. His answers are a little longer than what I wrote above, but it wouldn't make sense to translate back to English the printed Portuguese translation. Hopefully the complete recording will be made available soon, so that you can all hear his exact words.

I noticed on one of the videos they features "Hope of Deliverance". Hope the fans in Brazil get to hear that "lost classic".
