And Vancouver is a great city. Make sure to visit Stanley Park and Granville Island. How's the weather?
It is!!!! I'm going to Stanley Park and Granville Island tomarrow morning! The weather..........well you have to be ready for rain any minute. Its not pouring like in Oregon but light & misty rain now. This afternoon they expect a thunder lightning storm to come in. PYRO TECH ALERT. The outlook is for rain every day till Sunday (can you believe it, Paul stops the rain). So far I have just gone out between showers, just like at home.

I live just across from BC Place--I can see it out my front window, just across the parking lot--and last night they had it all lit up electric blue, with diagonal red and white bands zipping across. At first I was thinking, "why are they displaying the Union Jack?" Then it hit me...duh!! So set up has begun! Got my Soundcheck instructions yesterday and getting very excited. Welcome to all those visiting Vancouver...hope you enjoy your stay despite the rain!

They may do a rehearsal the day befpre so if you see those lights again...first make sure it is not a flying saucer (!), then go & see if you can catch Paul.

I'm pretty sure we can't blame Paul for rain in Vancouver. It's in a RAINforest, for goodness sake!

Same here and she scares me. Hope Paul's people have read about her and keep her far, far away from the stage.

I don't think the weather is going to matter much. The big storm is Thursday night. They say we will have thunder & lightning & high winds (around 40 mph). Tomarrow daytime should be ok. So far their idea of rain seems to be clouds & light showeres for the area here at the BC Place. If your on a highway you may think different. It really does get cold at night, dangerously cold. There is snow outside the Vancouver area on the passes. So if your driving I'd reconsider or at least check it out good. People in Vancouver are just wearing their parkas & boots all day. No sun yet, sun is expected Sunday & Monday but it will be colder without the cloud cover & it is expected to be breezy (10-15 mph). Put away the party dresses & heels for another time - you'll either freeze or fall on your butt in a puddle. :

She scares me too. As I was reading the article all I could think of was "PLEASE lady, don't hold up your sign throughout the show and block our view of the stage!"

The article says she got tix for the 3rd row on the floor. I will say her tattoo looks pretty cool.

Hi all! Im going on sunday and can hardly wait...also thinking of going to Springsteen the next day and only ticketmaster seats are ones behind the stage; has anyone here sat in those seats at Rogers Arena? worth it? I can buy scalped tix, but was wondering what the ticketmaster seats are like behind stage.. Thx!!
-

I would hate to be sitting behind her and her big sign, tho; I get the feeling she is going to be holding it up for the whole show : since she seems so determined...
I agree 100%....if her craigslist row 3 tickets are in front of me then I do hope they're fakes. I'd feel bad for her losing the money but I didn't pay $650. to have some character blocking my view with a huge sign!

I cant speak for the Rogers, but behind the stage seats--for Springsteen specifically--are great and I would rather sit there than all the way in the back. They are close to the stage, there are no obstructions, and Bruce will turn around and play to the people back there. If I can't get a GA ticket so I can try for the Pit, behind stage is my second choice. There are screens above so you can watch the video feed if you need to see closeups.

(Insert many cuss words) Oh no not again. I don't care who she is I just don't want a sign in my face. I wonder what happens when a fan gets fed up & just climbs over the seats to get a view? I'm ready to try it, I really hate the signs in my face that much. I think my plans ganna be trying to stand in the aisle first & if that don't work I'll climb over the seat & join the sign holders row. Then she can't block me.
