Welcome Lucy fur I've been lmao over your posts. Your ganna fit in just fine when you get here. Thats the magic, we all feel about 5 years old when Paul's around. I'm ganna go walking. Think I'll see if I can find Bill Reid's Gallery. Safe travel you guys.
Thanks Nanorama!! Have fun in the big city! I also hope that there's no change in the set list....I don't mind the Boss, but I'm there for my beloved Beatle!

Looks like the show is indoors, but with a regular stadium set up.[/img]

If you liked what you saw in Vancouver, you should come over to Vancouver Island, it's jaw dropping beautiful here.
Thats what people have been telling me since the 60's. Several friends from Haight Ashbury moved there when our commune broke up in '67 but guess what, I don't remember their last names. Could you be one? Sure don't have time right now, next trip I will definitly work it in. I also have to visit my cousin in Edmonton someday. So I'll be back maybe next summer. I want to see the sun come up at 5 & day light till 10 pm!
Yup, it's kind of cool. I'm just hoping it isn't -20C, but you know. And dark at 4:30pm.... Paul picked an interesting time to come to Edmonton. Come and visit us. At least summer isn't cold. And dark.

Hi, sorry if t his is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure where to post. My aunt in Edmonton has 2 floor tickets to sell. They are for the Hot Soundcheck package, and she is going, so if someone wanted to do the soundcheck they could do so by meeting her at the venue. Or if not, they could just buy them for the concert. She's open to best offer. If anyone is interested, direct message me, or if you have any suggestions for where else to post or who might be interested, I would appreciate the advice! Thanks!

Soundcheck tickets are not transferable. You need to prove who you are.

I realize the soundcheck portion isn't transferable, unless they were to meet and enter the soundcheck with her (as part of her group), but I thought the hard tickets on their own would still gain access to the concert, as plain old floor seats...is that not correct?

I'm not sure about that.

Yep, the sun is out, which can only mean one thing: Paul is in the city. And if the rumors are true that Bruce will come out to play with Paul, I wonder if they are going to be doing the same songs they did in London, or if they are going to play songs from Paul's current setlist. I hope they don't change up the setlist they've had the last couple shows because they were too good! One more sleep!
Rumor has it that he will join Paul on Get Back. This evidently is now Paul's "special guest" number. :
Interesting, hadnt heard that rumor yet. Bruce has only done Get Back live once, when he was on stage with Ringo and the All-Starrs during the tour when Clarence Clemons and Nils Lofgren were part of Ringo's band. Bruce could also do I Saw Her StandingThere which is another "guest" song for Paul.

Check with your aunt, you may find she does not hold the floor tickets yet - they are often given out by the host of the sound check package at the venue. The soundcheck attendees are not allowed to leave the venue once in so any such deal would be difficult to close...

.. your name has to be on a list already approved for tickets & soundcheck; once when you enter the venue...2nd when you retrieve your tix,...unless something has changed..??
-
Is it true, rehearsals for Mull Of Kintyre, tomorrow night??

I thought it was only the purchaser who's name is on the list & their party must enter together, & it does say that. It is written on my sound check instructions for today : "Photo ID of the original package purchaser is required at the time of check-in. As the original package purchaser, you and all members of your party must be in attendance at check-in and enter the venue together. Note: There will be no late admittance, so please be on time." OK so far. HOWEVER it also says: The reselling of packages is strictly prohibited and resold packages will not be honored at the performance venue. I think "packages" means both the soundcheck & the concert. YOU SHOULD CONTACT THEM ON MONDAY. Edmonton tickets were sold thru Crowd Surge. On line I found: support@crowdsurge.com where they offer some FAQ's on the first page. The phone # 0845 0508258 is in England I think. Check that site for other local #'s.

It's only Autumn but its cold to me. Walking around yesterday in the sun I still needed my coat cause of the wind. Hope you guys don't think its an Indian Summer with the break in the storms, bring your coats!

There was somebody in St. Louis who bought the ticket portion of the package from Stub Hub and got in to the concert. If I were you, I'd post it in the Edmonton thread: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=84924&start=105

Any pictures of the area around the stadium?
