Is this arena indoor or outdoor? -
I'm pretty sure it's outside. I think I read it somewhere, and it makes sense since it's a stadium...

Thank you, I'm very tempted, even though it's eight hours by train.

The Casa Stadium is the home of AC Horsens soccer team. It has hosted the mega-stage of U2's 360° tour so is definitely large and outdoors Some of the more technical descriptions of the venue suggest one of the end terraces can be moved to create more seating and leave space to accommodate a concert stage. Can't quite imagine it myself but they clearly make concert hosting a regular and successful thing from the list of other touring artists they've hosted. Martin

Had to follow up that techy bit about the end stadium being removable. Here's a photoset showing the one end removed to accomodate U2: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/39257887 http://panoramio.com/photo/39257880 Martin

I wanna go!!
Me too. Loads. Having MAJOR Macca concert withdrawals. More tour announcements closer to home, please.
I think until Paul has a set list overhaul i'll give it a miss. I think after seeing 4 shows over the last 21 months there's too many songs that have stuck, it needs a major injection of "minty fresh" to get it out of it's staleness.
ditto, though if he did the same show as on the last night in Brazil then I would be tempted !

I managed to get two tickets for Sunday 1 July. Not sure if I'm able to go yet, but I will do anything to make it..
-
Is the July 1st concert mentioned on Paul's website? I don't see it.

There has not been a blog announcement of the second date yet, nor has the listing on the Tour page been updated to show the 1st July yet. However when you hit the blue button on the listing for the 30th the Danish ticketing agency offers you the choice of the two dates 30/6 and 01/7 The delay might be linked to the general sale, which triggered the second date ,taking place on a Saturday with the web-designers responsible for main site content off-duty. It would be nice to see an updated announcement and the tour page updated today so that as many people see the new shows availability more prominently promoted. But the show has been officially launched, that is certain, members have been buying tickets already. Now that pre-sales are over and passcodes no longer needed you can also take the direct route to the sales: http://www.billetlugen.dk/music/24507/paul-mccartney/ Plenty of seats available yet, test purchases brought up section 7 Nord and tickets for the general admission arena floor easily. Weird..... My tickets arrived already Mom just called. I live in north Finland. Very fast work
-
Mine came today too, but it's pretty impressive that they made it all the way to finland already! Btw, the concerts have their own website now with everything you need to know. It's in danish, but then there's google translate. http://www.mccartneyihorsens.dk/

The second date does now have an announcement in the tour blog section: http://www.paulmccartney.com/web/guest/tour-blog Martin

Is the first date sold out? At least Paul´s website tells its sold out but there´s many ticket-services that says there´s still some left...
-
There'll always be seats tucked away in little corners somewhere that'll appear on a seat search but often these are thrown back by would-be-buyers when they look at the location on a seating diagram. I doubt any venue is ever truly 100% sold out. I suspect the trade sets a nominal sales figure such as 95% or 98% capacity before they start attaching the term "sold out" to any particular date. All well and good, nice to think that there's always somewhere in a venue for a "little 'un" who just wants to be "in the house" at the last minute. Martin

Received my tickets Now praying that the only one of my friends who is a true McCartney fan and really knows what's this all about can go with me! That would be so cool! Just perfect. *crosses all fingers and toes*

Dear Paul, just in case you drop by this thread, and need some ideas for the setlist in Horsens ..."Tomorrow" or "Too many people" would be perfect. KOTB, Mrs. Pepper
