Seriously, 2 weeks before my first time to see Paul, he cancelled the show in Horsens, Denmark last year. So dissapointed. He then made concerts in November, and now announces in Italy, Poland and Austria. I mean, WHAT THE HELL? Where is the Denmark shows? How can i contact officials behind Macca, and get a reason why I'm being robbed for my concert. I still have my ticket, i bought, and it makes me sad, that I'm probably never going to see Paul...
Cheer up, I was also supposed to go to Horsens and I'm just as pissed as you. I'm almost certain that he will play in Denmark this summer.
hopefully .. its rebooked!!!

Where in Italy has he announced? Did I miss something??

I'm still a little bit angry that he cancelled the concerts and now he has announced so many other concerts, and not single one in Denmark or atleast Scandanavia. I mailed MPL, hopefully they'll tell me Paul is just about to announce one in Horsens Update: They said it's very possible!

REALLY?? Can you copy here the whole answer?

I don't want to raise any hope, because we could all still end up very disappointed and left out.... but Brian also told me on Twitter "Stay tuned. You never know" when I asked about UK shows. So in my wonderful, happy, make-believe world I'm daydreaming about more European date annoucements. Lol. Sigh. If there wasn't anything planned then surely these people would say no or not say anything at all..?? I dunno. Keep this thread alive, people.

I got that answer from the MPL-chat, don't remember exactly what they wrote but they said that he'll be announcing alot more dates because it's going to be a long tour and that it's very possible that Denmark would be one of the places he's going to! They also promised they would forward my mail to the people who plans where Paul's concerts are going to take place!

I hope he re-schedules a show for you guys.

It doesn't look that way, I'm guessing he's going to announce even more US dates

Not really the same. The Horsens shows were announced officially, people had bought tickets, hotels and flights. New Mexico demonstrated the problems with reading too much into rumours.

^^ This. There's a reason negotiations take place behind the scenes.

If it makes the news, it is not behind the scenes. I blame the folks at NMSU for letting the news out. I blame McCartney's people for making it appear it was a done deal, when it wasn't. Either way, the Rolling Stones have it all over McCartney on how to put a tour together and announce it. The Stones are like a professional military operation, McCartney is like a rag tag operation not knowing what is going on until the last minute. It's not just me, this has been a widespread complaint on here for years from diehard fans.

I agree that the way he announces shows is ridiculous but this is still a completely different situation to Horsens. Negotiations fell through, no show was cancelled at the last minute.

Ok. I'm still not happy about it. It was a show that was going to happen then didn't. I stand by my comments!

Imagine how you would feel if it had been officially announced, you had bought tickets, arranged flights (ok so you wouldn't have to do that but you get my point) and accommodation! You weren't full of empathy earlier in this thread when people lost a lot more than you have, maybe that has changed!?
