Thanks Im hopeful for a Scottish gig so I can see Mull of Kintyre again. It was a powerful moment hearing it live tho, I can understand that. But sing or cry do it doubly!
Promised!! Now everyone who reads this and is attending the show will know who Mrs. Cmackpepper is, the girl which is sobbing the most during Junior's Farm, haha
Whilst ripping the air guitar apart.

It'd be weird if he did Denmark and then jetted off somewhere far away without doing a few more European countries. *fingers crossed*
His 70th on the 18th, Queens Jubilee is the 4th June and he's doing the Olympics so it would make sense to stay in that part of the world and do a few uk/euro dates before going to the us.
Exactly! Impossible to get Jubilee or Olympics tickets (besides, he won't be doing a full set at either of those) so he should do a few shows where his fans can actually get tickets. Hint, hint, Paul.
-
Wow! These European On The Run dates seems really out of the blue. But that has probably the same reason as why he did those 3 dates last month. They aren't going to bring the whole crew and band to Europe for just one gig (the Queens' Jubilee concert in this case, the Royal Albert Hall benefit last month), they might as well make some more money. So we know what to expect when he is announced for the Olympics ;).

its ALL about money...money is the reason he does it unfortunately.money is the reason he basically sings songs he wrote 30/40 years ago exclusively[the odd consolation exception]... if you take money out of it he could turn up anywhere ,jeans and tshirt, accoustic guitar or small band and play whatever he felt like on a nightly basis.....mccartneys whole current touring has become borderline boring for me...very sad .

Doesn't necessarily agree with all of what you are saying, but do have to say the setlist is the one and only reason I'm not planning to travel to these concerts, while only a half year ago I definitely would've grabbed any chance.

If you guys have him all summer...I got dibs on him for Christmas time. I would love to hear Wonderful Christmastime! This may be his idea of shakin things up!

Maybe he's deliberately going to countries he hasn't done in a few years so he doesn't need to change the setlist. Either way, if he's doing Denmark late June/early July and then the Olympics in late July then he's not going to tour anywhere out of the continent in the time in between.

I couldn't agree more. The only reason i went to the Royal Albert Hall was just to see Paul in such a beautiful venue, and to hear Junior's Farm and Golden Slumbers/ Carry That Weight/ The End again, plus the guests i knew we'd get.

Great new for the Danes but If he sticks with his current show, not sure it would be enough for me to go again, the tour name's have altered and that's about it, I've said before its the second half especially thats remained static since I first went in 2009.

If he comes a bit closer to home I'll probably give in and go! If he comes to Dublin again I'll do a soundcheck!!

Me too. Getting more curious about the soundchecks seeing as he plays fresher stuff in them. Does anyone know how good the seats are usually for the actual show on the soundcheck packages?
-
Will see what's done at Mexico gigs, certainly not too late to pull out of a couple of gems

Yes if only he transferred these over to the main gig, it's a bit worrying when someone pointed out (on here) that the soundcheck was more enjoyable than the actual show
-
Dunno about seats! Folks on Twitter that follow me, go retweet my last 2 tweets to Stuart Bell about SLS and Ram songs!!

Here at the soundcheck I was at...we were like 40 rows back! Serious. Then I had 4th row tickets for the show. Soundcheck was fun though but I wish we were closer.

Denmark? Seems appropriate, first he did his thing for the fire balls and now it's the ice bergs' turn (just funnin' ya) a play on the old tedious tiresome national stereotypes concept
