Just finished reading this article. Very well written, with details galore, and with a much needed upbeat mood.  Laughed out loud several times, especially when reading about George's outlook on everything. Ha. Loved his line after Paul released "McCartney"; George simply said, "well, guess we need a new bass player". Sweet. Ha.  Loved the summary of Paul and John's interview on The Tonight Show with a clueless Joe Garagiola.  The article basically tells the reader that these four lads loved each other to death, but were ready to move on.  They gave us amazing music together, and then gave us amazing music apart.

He talks about We Can Work It Out as a parable for the Beatles situation. That's stretching it a lot. Guess he doesn't know Paul was writing the song to/about Jane Asher.
