I agree Bruce it's a terrible location.... and cold as hell.. but gonna try for this one... it's historic! you gotta go... ops:
How can it be cold in August?
San Francisco is a lot colder than most places in the summer. I live up in the suburbs and it gets into the 90s here in the summer, where as in S.F. it stays in the mid to high 60s with the occasional heat wave. Even Paul commented back in 2010 about the cold evening during the concert and it was in July Candlestick is right by the water and it gets really cold and breezy down there, so even in the summer it gets very cold down there in that part of the city.
Sounds like summer weather I would like!
Yes it can be a nice escape from the heat since I work in they city. Have to dress in layers though most days.

Hmm...I had done search on internet and it showed about 7 miles apart between downtown and candlestick so thought that would be pretty easy to cab or bus there....or am I missing something?
I go to "the city" frequently. Even though it is about 8 - 10 miles from the Financial District to Candlestick, it will take about a half hour to drive on a good day since there are a lot of city streets to travel on before you get onto the freeway. By bus, you are looking at around a 45 min. to an hour because the bus will make many, many stops along the way, unless Muni adds an express bus like they used to do on game days. Then you will have to walk about a mile to get from the bus stop to the stadium. Hopefully they will keep the buses running late or else fans could be "stuck at the 'Stick."
I think Muni runs pretty late into the night, it's BART most folks will have to worry about since they only run until midnight out of the city.
Muni service goes down to a few bare-bones routes after midnight.

Dumb question, and apologies if this has already been addressed. Has a seating chart with corresponding prices been released, or will it be before tickets go on sale? I have friends who want to go and we're trying to coordinate, including who buys the tickets and how much is okay to spend.

Hi Bruce...I don't believe it has. Hopefully tomorrow...prior to pre-sales on Tuesday.

Ah thanks for that Bruce! Hoping we will be able to get home or at least to BART after the concert! AT&T was easy as we just walked to BART after, and Outside Lands at least had the shuttles.

Got the email regarding pre-sales, and noticed a mistake. Says presale starts at 9AM, but advises fans to come to the site for 10AM. "The pre-sale for both shows begins Tuesday 29th April at 9am (local time / 5pm BST). Please also keep in mind pre-sale tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis so fans are advised to come to the site for 10am."
Hi, Once again, apologies have been extended for any confusion the typo may have caused. We have been asked to clarify that the website pre-sale does indeed begin at 9AM local (venue) time. At some point tomorrow (Monday), there will be information posted about the website pre-sale at the main site and at Paul's social networks, emphasizing the start time of 9AM local (venue) time. Best of luck! Anita

Got my email from the site and it does give the correct time of 9AM Pacific time for the tickets to go on sale. The links posted above though say 10:00am. Does that mean the VIP packages go on sale an hour later?

Hi All, What does crowdsurge have to do with Tuesday's pre-sale? Do we have to register an account with them, or will the link on the pre-sale redirect us to Ticketmaster? For those who prefer not to stand, what sections in the Lower Box do you think would be the best seats to try for? I sat too far to the side at AT&T and never saw the back screen projection. Thanks, and good luck on Tuesday!

Do we know what website the tickets are being sold through? Ticketmaster or another one that we might have to register with? I just don't want to enter my email on Tuesday morning and be sent to a ticket site that I don't have an account with.

I'll be seeing everyone there!!!

Thats a good question. I checked both Ticketmaster and AXS, and dont see Paul's Candlestick venue listed.

How do you buy tickets through Crowdsurge? I looked at Crowdsurge and it doesn't look like a ticket outlet but a company that facilitates private presales. What website will the pre-sale link (from pm) for tomorrow that has not been listed yet take us? Do you think it will direct us to Crowdsurge to purchase or will it lead us to Ticketmaster?
