Of the people who have their tickets in hand, did any of you order them in the 9 a.m. presale via crowd surge? So far the only people I know with tickets are those who got them through the 10 a.m. AMEX sale.

I ordered through the 9AM presale and have NOT received mine yet. I'd love to know also.

I have a gold package, so I did mine through the general VIP sale, don't know if that changes the quickness of release. They usually aren't here this fast so I'm guessing it does.

Last time I ordered through Crowdsurge was 2010, I believe and if I remember correctly, it took a couple of months to receive them!

I suppose patience IS a virtue, however it is hard to be patient when it comes to Paul!! I have never been to DC before and can't wait to see the sights. Anyone know how far the baseball field is too the National Mall?

Way beyond walking distance...if you're in DC all day, I'd recommend getting in early as possible and getting a cab over to the mall etc. It can very easily take up your entire day! So much to see!!

Your best bet is to take the metrorail subway from the mall. http://www.wmata.com/rail/maps/map.cfm? The ballpark is on the green line, Navy Yard - Ballpark stop. Smithsonian is on the blue/orange lines.

I doubt it. The second shows seem to be added where the arena is smaller, such as Brooklyn.
-
I'll eat my hat if there's a second show.
-
I would gladly eat a hat for a 2nd show!

Dear Crowdsurge, Why is it those that ordered during the AMEX presale for the same event were able to get their tickets within 2 days, while the rest of us have to wait several weeks? Their response
The Amex pre-sale was facilitated through Ticketmaster who have their own ticket dispatching guidelines. Our time frame is based on the time needed for our ticketing dispatch company to receive the hard stock from the venue.

The VIP tickets were done through tickets.com, so three ticket vendors were used it seems.

...And I bet crowdsurge is the last to deliver.

Question for those of you that have had main floor seats at any Paul concerts before. I will be on the main floor for the first time in DC. Have any of you experienced other people trying to push their way up to the closer rows? If so, does security make them go back to their own rows? I'm pretty short so this is a worry of mine. I paid for a closer seat so I could experience at least one concert up close and I want to be able to see without rude folks taking over where they aren't supposed to be.

At the FedEx Field show in '09 I had 3rd row center and as the lights dimmed people would rush the stage. Chairs and people were literally flying. Obviously, those of us who paid the big $$$ were getting PO'd. At first security just sat with there thumbs up their bums until one of Paul's people, I assume, came up front and had a few words with whomever must have been the head of security. The show was delayed 10-15 minutes while security then ushered people back to their appropriate seats and order was resumed. This was nothing compared to a show in Paris in 2004 when it seemed like the entire stadium rushed the stage. Thank God I didn't have field tickets for that one. Just another reason I really don't care for floor seating unless it's front row!
