thanks Lynda, I was hoping more for "The Word" (one of my all time Fav, plus "All You Need is Love"), I've heard Hope 2 times in 93, but now it's better than anything else heard before!! haha also hope to hear "Things We Said Today" (I've just saw Paul doing that at the Barcelona soundcheck in 2003 but NEVER in a concert so far).. and I do hope to hear more surprise like 2 years ago when Paul did a "special" song for Mexico.. I'll keep you psoted!

yes, it would be nice if he played all of those for your & everyone at the Mexico shows! Then he can change the whole setlist for when he comes back here. haha...

For my part, I think the set lists are fine. McCartney HAS added new songs to the list, maybe not as many or the songs as some would have liked, but consider that he has played in the last couple of years, LETTING GO, JUNIOR'S FARM, VENUS AND MARS/ROCK SHOW, MRS. VANDERBILT, COME AND GET IT, THE WORD/ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, HOPE OF DELIVERANCE, among others. I do wonder why hits like SILLY LOVE SONGS and LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAN SAID are ignored. Those are great songs. Maybe someday we will hear them live. But in the balance I think McCartney delivers. I saw Tom Petty here in Albuquerque a couple of nights ago and he put on a brilliant, killer show with amazing staging and lights. He played hits, but did dig in deep for some obscure songs, probably about 5 or 6 in a set list of 23 songs. His fans ate it up. I suppose McCartney could do the same, play things like THE MESS and BIG BARN BED or GIRL'S SCHOOL or even MULL OF KYNTIRE. Or GETTING CLOSER!!

The concert was wonderful. It rained a lot, but he played Hope Of Deliverance, Ram On, Yellow Submarine, Birthday and I Saw Her Standing there. It was the longest concert of the South American leg of the tour.

Birthday? I LOVE that one! Where did that fit in? None of the sets have it listed.
