That's weird...
Maybe they're outside waiting for Paul to come out looking for them, so that they can yell "SURPRISE"!
-
Two more:
-
Why is the gap between the stage and the front row so huge? Because of the fireworks/pyro?

Usually for the security guards & also the guy operating the rolling video camera.

Me too. I think quite a few of us feel a bit forgotten.

Been a real gig heavy year for me and it aint over yet but none of them, while all great match the nights entertainment Paul gives you.

That sounds fitting. The Scottrade Center is home to the St. Louis Blues hockey team. I feel very blue b/c there has been no Blues games this year. Due to the NHL lockout.
-
no one invited up onstage & no new songs at soundcheck...so I read.

So at least my mood matches the home team

Hardly surprising, though, is it?

It's because of the blue lights!

Seems legit.

Unfortunately for the North-American audience, the opening act was still the 'Stars on 45'-like DJ. Video screens are just on, circa 20 minutes 'till showtime.

Damn, it's 11 PM here and I have a long day at work tomorrow.

He needs to be dropped. I hate sitting there waiting... waiting.... waiting... and his DJing feels like it's going on forever... and it's not even that good.

If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I certainly would stay up until the end of the concert.

Since he will hit the stage in about 10 minutes, you might want to sit out the opener. Then you can sleep safely when it's time for 'All My Loving', 'Jet', 'Let Me Roll It' etc and hear tomorrow if he added something special. ;).
