Paul, Scottrade Center, St. Louis, November 11th - ARCHIVE

We went to the Hard Rock early on Saturday as neither one of us had much to eat all day and we were starving. I say this was better than Nashville, but I think a lot of that has to do with where my seats were. Being on the floor is always way better than being in the 300's. I was way too far away in Nashville but I had a great time with friends there. It was great to meet you, pood for paul. Soundcheck was great and no regrets. Not one, not a single one. I also wish I was in Houston right now.

No way! In the green and black t-shirts?? That's crazy! I think Alvita had gotten a shirt from your friend before. Anyway, I didn't know that was you - you should've said something. Always enjoy meeting fellow boardies. And don't be harsh on yourself - now you know I'm an overly excited, "I-might-pass-out" spaz. God knows what you may have overheard me say.
That was us! We were too excited talking amongst ourselves and finding people we knew. I don't recall overhearing anything. I know my friend asked to see your tat. I am definitely an overly excited I might pass out type also. Was at my first Paul concert and was at this one Hence, the tears during Let It Be. I never know what my emotions will do when it comes to Paul. It was a great run for me. Glad I had decided this was the end for me as now that I've done the sound check, I could never go back and I can not do sound checks for every show. I'm too old to do this any more. I'm still recovering. I don't even drink.
Did you have breakfast at the Hilton Double Tree on Sunday morning wearing t shirts with Paul drawings on them? If that was you my wife and I loved your shirts!

Bob G, Alvita, Sarah, Podge, Rick, and the rest (hope you're back in your house soon) had signs going all night. Paul was smiling, pointing, and laughing at you guys throughout most of the concert. I can't wait for Rick and Bob to post their pictures. Rick I sent you a PM
It was so great to see you again!! Wish we'd had the energy to hang out post show... but no such luck. Alvita and I basically collapsed when we got back to our room. Till next time!
We were in the same shape, always great to see you! You are part of the McCartney concert experience, it wouldn't be the same without you!

I was wonderin'... ...granted I was already drained when Alvita and I had texted Saturday night.
So sad we didn't catch you Audi! We were going strong on Saturday night.. but, after a light 5 1/2 hour sleep on Saturday, soundcheck and the concert we were drained. Oh...and freezing! How did the temps drop like 30 degrees in one evening???
were you in the Hard Rock Saturday night?? You and another gal from the board?? I thought I saw you. Kelly
Yes - Alvita (aakiboh) and I were in St. Louis together. We were at a table with some other friends on the patio! You may also have seen us staring longingly at the televisions inside the Hard Rock watching the Ticket to Ride video... just depends on when you saw us...
I thought that was you two, I was sitting at a table watching you taking pictures of the Video of Paul at one point. I was just curious since I have never met you. Hope you had fun, I always do.

glad everyone had a great gig! Does anyone have pix of the new t-shirts and merchandise that they can post for a non-Facebook-er? ops: Thanks!

Yes, that was us! My friend made the very limited edition t shirts, limited to 45! I got asked at the concert which stand was selling them!

They've let us in the lobby. Now Dance Tonight
lucky you
I was there, too. Des Moines was the only other arena I've been to where they let you wait in the lobby during soundcheck. Typically the box offices are on the outside. I was just trying to stay dry so it was a welcome bonus!

Cindy and I had a total blast seeing Macca again. Frankly I didnt know if this gig would live up to how good the Nashville show was. I must say that St Louis, in my opinion, was a better gig than Nashville. Dont know how he does it! Enjoyed meeting some of the boardies at Maggies. Here is a link to pics from the gig. https://www.facebook.com/fletcher.terry.3/posts/4312977816486?comment_id=4619728&ref=notif¬if_t=feed_comment#!/media/set/?set=a.4291368516267.175905.1048136423&type=3

Sure wish I could have. We're under a deadline for work & there just wasn't enough time. By all accounts it was a good one. Glad for all of you!

Yeah, I totally wasn't expecting them to let us in the lobby! It was so wonderful to get to hear (obstructed as it was) songs he didn't play at the concert. Speaking of songs he played at the concert...have a little Junior's Farm!

Awesome pics Wallie, congratulations! What camera do you have and how much zoom does it have?
Thanks. It's a Canon PowerShot, with a 40x zoom on it.
Please put the pics somewhere with a public page! I'd love to see more! Gotta love that ZOOM!
I don't know if folks can see these, but here are all of my pictures from the show (located on my Facebook): http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151293468926181.521263.589996180&type=3

nice review. it said that 'Birthday' was a fan request.
I think it was in the setlist no matter what as they had the graphics on screen cued up for the song, but he happened to read two signs folks were holding up about that night being their birthdays before playing it.
make it 3 fans he saw my sign too dont care if it was being played anyway or not it made my birthday I went to st louis to see him because it was my birthday

A bit off-topic, but I must say that St. Louis is a very, very friendly city. Loved the diversity of its citizens who all seem to coexist beautifully.
I agree on that everyone I met was so nice

Anyone have a DVD of the entire show of know of one being sold anywhere. My 15 year old is stalking talking about it 3 days later and it would be a great Christmas present for her.

There probably will be a bootleg youtube compilation available but that is all I would expect.
