Take the 800 number for stub hub with you to the show just in case...I was denied entry once in the 6 years of using them. Long Story short was I bought two more tickets, they gave me handicap area tickets in the same area. Once I contacted stub hub the next day, they gave me a refund of what I paid, stopped payment to the seller and then gave me a coupon good for the amount I paid to get into the show, a coupon I used just recently to buy two tickets to see Neil Young. Granted the show I was going to see was not McCartney but it was still an extremely popular show, they were damn near sold out.

I thought you had to have your ticket to get into the soundcheck. I'm pretty sure the email said they tear your ticket when you go in for that. So how could someone go to the soundcheck and sell the ticket? It just doesn't sound feasible. But I'd be nervous too. I like hard tickets under these kind of circumstances. Hope it all works out.

OK So where are people going for Sat night and Sunday before and after?? I am have not totally followed the thread regarding that so if you could please just finalized and then tell us...Thanks

So now I'm beginning to feel I may have been ripped off. Tickets came by PDF from Stub Hub, Sect. A, Row 5, sets 3 & 4. also says ZHOT2 which leads me to believe they are part of the sound check package as someone else pointed out. I've already contacted Stub Hub to verify with seller but of course they're closed now. Is it possible someone could be using the sound check but selling the seats to the concert? I do not want to drive all that way to be denied entry and Ive sold my other tickets. Already chatted with Stub Hub earlier via Live Chat and they assured me this seller was reputable. Of course they have a 'guarantee' but I would be screwed out of the concert. HELP!
For the sound check packages that I have been to they want the name of the original purchaser with ID for entrance. Then your tickets are scanned. Did stubhub advertise these tickets as a sound check package? Look at the price on the ticket that should indicate if it was purchased as part of a package or just the ticket.

Soundcheck packages are not supposed to be resold, because, as forget64 says, original purchaser has to present an ID to be admitted. It's possible that those are not soundcheck tickets, altho that "Hot" code does seem like they might be. Someone here who has Hot Sound tickets for St. Louis can confirm if that code is on their tickets. It's possible that the StubHub seller bought a soundcheck package and decided to sell the tickets only. Or that the seller is clueless about how the soundcheck packages work. But as a second-hand buyer, you won't be allowed into the soundcheck. The tickets might be usable to get into just the concert itself, tho. when you enter the arena, they should scan just like a regular face value ticket, unless there is another set out there somewhere--in which case, yes you would definitely have been scammed. I had to return some tickets to StubHub once (the tickets sent to me were NOT the tickets that were advertised for sale; I think the seller had dyslexia because they had the wrong section number). They were very helpful over the telephone. So I hope you can get things sorted out so that you have a good seat to see Paul!

Regarding the Sec A, Row 5 tickets - these could be "Hot Seat" tickets, which is simply a concert ticket package with some "swag" thrown in (presumably the Stubhub seller is not including the goodies, they arrive after the concert anyway). They might not be "Hot Sound" which is the soundcheck package. I hope this puts your mind at ease! Enjoy your fabulous seats!

The price on the tickets says 1500.00. Stubhub replied this morning assuring me they examined the tickets and they are legit. I asked them to contact the buyer to verify legitimacy (he is a regular trusted seller according to them, of course they don't show feedback like you would see on Ebay). So what about the rest of the package then? I just have tickets? I've never been to a soundcheck unfortunately so I don't know what comes with tickets. Stubhub just keeps claiming 'buyer protection, you'll get money refunded". Who gives a shit about that when you drive 5 or 6 hours and you're standing outside in the cold with no tickets? You don't see the tickets before you buy them. I seriously doubt I got lucky enough to buy $3,000 worth of tikets for $950. I would love to take a picc and upload for you more savvy ticket holders to look at but I don't see how.

In my opinion, because of the price, you purchased just the tickets from a VIP package. The seller's name and sellers ID is what will get you into the soundcheck. Did the seller claim on stubhub that a sound check was included? If they did then you might have some recourse with Stubhub, if not they they were just selling tickets. Even if you don't get the soundcheck you are going to see a great concert from great seats!

I just sent you an email. I still can't believe when Brian R came up to you and said "your going up mate", and then you were on stage with Mr. McCartney!!!! I hope the video I took came out OK, I had a few scotch's in me! I was hoping to see you in Manchester again, or Liverpool but it doesn't look like he is going to do any Christmas concerts. Can't wait to see the video!

I bought the $1500 ticket from Ticket Master, via a friends amex card. I had to jump hoops to make sure I was going to be allowed into the show. I have now received my hard ticket, and an email that admits me to the sound check.. I have my friends photo ID and a letter from him stating the ticket is for me. I also contacted someone (can't remember who now as I'm not home right now), and they emailed me a letter saying I have permission to attend the sound check. Good Luck

You don't want to upload a picture of the tickets here; even tho we have to be registered to log in, anyone can read the messages on this forum, so someone could easily try to steal the image and replicate the tickets, esp. if they are Ticketfast. It sounds like they are legit tix and agree that based on the price and location, they are "Hot Sound" tickets. Seems that the seller just unloaded the seats and you will get to use them without access to the soundcheck. If they are ticketfast/pdf tix, they usually have the original purchaser's name printed on them, but without the matching ID, you wouldn't get admitted to soundcheck anyway. The disclaimer on TM says that Package elements are NON-TRANSFERRABLE. NO NAME CHANGES will be permitted under any circumstances . Maybe let StubHub know that you bought tickets that are part of the Hot Sound package but can't use the VIP portion since it's not transferrable? http://www.ticketmaster.com/promo/12rbxm?ac_link=mccartney12_merchslot_vip I agree that the S.H.guarantee doesn't do you any good if you get shut out of the concert. I have bought tix from S.H. before, and have never had a problem, seats have always been legit. I know they will try and get you into the show if they can (take their phone # with you) but the refund is small consolation if you can't get to see Paul.

Not great weather for Sunday night: Overcast with a chance of a thunderstorm and rain, then rain after midnight. Fog overnight. Low of 36F. Breezy. Winds from the WSW at 10 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 80% with rainfall amounts near 1.9 in. possible

He didn't list sound check included nor would I expect it. I had been checking SH for days looking for closer seats and they just popped up - I grabbed them immediately. So hopefully I did just get very lucky, though I can't imagine why someone would go to the soundcheck and not the concert. I have never been that close, with the 'FAN PRESALE' I could only get floor wayyy back. ( Susan

Oh yes, I know, I was just thinking about people who are walking from their hotels,or just out and about before and after the concert.

It's highly unlikely that the seller is going to the soundcheck. They probably just bought the tickets, can't use them and now are selling what they can (i.e., the concert ticket portion). Hope it works out for you!

Anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in downtown St Louis for the weekend hurry and check out Hotwire. They are booking rooms at the Hyatt at the Arch for only $58/night on Sat/Sun. Yes, it's a blind bid like Priceline but the Hyatt is where you'll end up. Better hurry if interested because, as always, who knows how long this rate will be advertised. Good luck

I am holding hard tickets for Section B, Row 5 Seats 4 and 5. They do say ZHOT2 on them and list the price as $1500. Is that the price shown on the PDF?
