I literally have the-concert-is-over depression
...but on the bright side, we still have all the memories (and photos) from "one heck of a McCartney show"!!
It's better than no-concert-at-all depression.

I got lots of great photos in St Louis. Thought I would post a few. The first two were in the Soundcheck. What a blazing guitar! At Soundcheck Photo 1 Click Here! At Soundcheck Photo 2 Click Here! The next two were at the Show. What a neat effect of Paul and Brian with the large sidescreen behind! At show Photo 1 Click Here! At show Photo 2 Click Here! Podgie (It was an awesome time!) Monkey

Awesome pics! What camera do you use? I'm suprised the soundcheck photos came out so good considering the distance from the stage.

I think it was mentioned somewhere on this thread about the fan passing out at the show, and being carried away from his seat by security. Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the gentleman passed away at the hospital he was admitted too. He was the father of one of my co-workers friends. I was on vacation from work last week, and just heard the sad news this morning at work. My thoughts and prayers are with the deceased gentleman's family.
Whoa! I hadn't heard about this, but I'm terribly sorry for what happened to him, and feel for his family and friends, especially at this time of year.
I wasn't aware either. This may come across as insensitive, but I mean it: There aren't many better ways to go.
Hey, I want to die with Paul singing in front of me as well. Hope the guy didn't suffer.
Hope it was towards the end of the show.
According to this, no, it was at the beginning: did have an older gentleman get carried out of show near the start. noticed he was having trouble up the stairs preshow. emt's showed up shortly into set. hope everything turned out for him.

Is that from the St. Louis newspaper?

stlblues67 posted this on previous page: The post about the man who died is on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch message board. The gentleman died on the way to the hospital (per my co-worker), I was mistaken about him passing away at the hospital in my earlier post. Here's the link to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch message board where the post was made by "crowes74" about the man who died : http://interact.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=921613

The reality: This man, God bless his soul, is hangin' with Elvis, Jimi, John, J.B. and Linda. And if he's REALLY lucky, he's indulging in a hearty slice of my great-grandmother's chess pie. Probably a very long line, though.

I love cheese pie!

How about gooey butter cake? That's a St. Louis specialty.

Gooey butter cake, toasted ravioli, Ted Drewes' frozen custard: All delicacies native to St. Louis. And for the carnivores: fried brain sandwiches, and BBQ Pork Steaks.
