Why leave the roof open? They have HOODIES to sell!! (They actually are a decent purchase.) I bought mine to fight the numbing cold on the floor of AT&T park in JULY in San Francisco. Silly Texan, what, you think it's summer?

Ok, so I guess no meet up before the concert. Minute Maid Park posted this on fb - Paul McCartney Concert Guests: Please note that the roof of Minute Maid Park will be open for the concert and temperatures will be cooler, so please dress accordingly. If you have already purchased parking you can park as early as 4pm in Astros lots. Doors open at 6pm. Parking is sold out so if you have not already purchased Astros parking please allow extra time for parking in other city lots. For more concert information please visit . http://atmlb.com/UAQnYl So roof will be open, will probably be able to hear sound check. What time is the sound check?
Where did you see the roof will be open? I didnt see it on the Minute Maid or Paul facebook pages.

We are in Houston already. Walked all around the stadium and got our tix. The man at Will Call said the roof will be open so dress accordingly. Can't wait for tomorrow.

That is such a dumb decision. Why wouldn't they have it closed and heat the building? not gonna ruin the concert, but it might make Paul a bit cold. But he's English so he's used to it.
-
Hope ya'll have a great time tonight!
-
Have a fabulous time tonight. St. Louis was an indoor arena and the fireworks and flash pots for Live and Let Die didn't set the building on fire. Roof could have been closed. It was in Dallas in 2009.
-
Wish I could be there.... have a wonderful time everyone... please tweet us and send pics if possible... How I love a Paul concert... everyone smiling and singing...
-
Woo hoo!! About to leave for dinner and then off to the show. I'm so damned excited. Haven't seen him in my hometown in 7 years. Everyone enjoy their evening!
-
Missing Audi's countdown meter... that was cool...

Barb Potter posted the soundcheck setlist on twitter: C Moon Only Mama Knows Flaming Pie Matchbox Honey Don't Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying Every Night Calico Skies I''m Looking Through You Dance Tonight Ram On Yesterday Lady Madonna
-
6:30, doors not yet open. But it's packed!!
-
Weather forecast for show: 55 degrees dropping to 50 with clear skies and no wind.

OK, I'll go out on a limb and predict Hello Goodbye as the opener.

hey Frankie. You gonna do the whole evening again?
-
This show won't start any time soon. Apparently still a huge line outside. Pre-show hasn't started yet anyway.

Not really. What for? It's the same old show. Forgive me, I just feel sort of sad and bitter about Macca tonight. For more reasons than one.
