Paul, Minute Maid Park, Houston, November 14th - ARCHIVE
-
they should have shipped the tickets long before the Hurricane even came. If they did have to change their plans due to the hurricane, they had plenty of time to notify us before it hit or even during the storm. They are a crappy ticket provider
-
I've bought quite a few tickets from CrowdSurge and have never had problems with them. I think this is an unusual situation. While I'm sympathetic to your particular situation, I'd rather they hold the tickets at the box office than have them shipped and not arrive in time.

CrowdSurge told me on Saturday that they got the tickets late from Minute Maid Park (if you see my post from that day) and were going to send them out; obviously they must have discussed this today and thought better of it; I also think they made the right call. I have had no problem with them in the past. I live in the northeast and to send them out now they never would have gotten to me before I left for St. Louis, mail, FedEx and UPS have all been screwed up for over a week. They made the right call IMO.
-
I'm really disappointed re Will Call because I hate to travel all the way to Houston without the tix in my hands.... Wonder how busy Will Call gets. Wonder how early we can pick the tix up. Crowd Surge mailed the tix for St. Louis a long time ago. Well before the storm. At least one of the Canadian concerts have had their tix mailed out already.... Oh well, I'm sure it will all work out.

Would you rather your tickets be at the bottom of a river somewhere? They made the right call.
Are you serious? They've been sitting on the money since Sept 9th and could have sent the tickets at anytime. They made a spectacularly unprofessional call and created a lot of problems for a lot of people as a result.
-
I will mention again, CrowdSurge told me late Saturday that Minute Maid park didn't send the tickets to them until late last week! So this is the best option. They said they are going to send instructions. Just make sure when you go to the gig you bring the credit card that you used to buy the tickets, bring your crowdsurge confirmation email printout, bring whatever instructions they are going to send about will call, and bring a photo ID. I deal a lot with FedEx, UPS and USPS in my job and the system of each of these shipping services have been disrupted because of storm Sandy. At my job, simple documents shipped priority overnight BEFORE Sandy are just reaching their destinations now! ...so IMO at this point Will Call is the best solution. I don't agree it's unprofessional, given the circumstances that Minute Maid Park sent them the tickets late it's the only viable solution.

Agreed. Will call will be no prob, everybody just relax. Things move slow here in Texas, especially H town traffic. you stressout over a little delay like this, you are gonna have a coronary on the freeway. nobody wants that

Tickets available at WillCall starting Thursday.
-
doesn't matter, i'm still f**ked

ONE WEEK TO GO!!! LET"S GO!!

Sold my tickets and no longer hold a grudge against paul's staff. I am back on Paul Overdrive! We still doing this meet up at the restaurant across the ballpark?

CrowdSurge is a service that contracts with Paul's promoter, they are not part of Paul's staff.
-
Yes, but it was paul's staff that that agreed on the promoter and chose the provider.
-
It seems more floor seats have become available on Ticketmaster. And in Section C too! I'm remotely upset because I bought my ticket on the first day of the pre-sale and the best I could do was H Section. Oh well, I'm still gonna see paul live, that's what counts!
-
Only 12 pages on the Houston thread, compared to 61 for St. Louis... Paul's gonna think you don't love him... LET'S HEAR SOME NOISE ON HERE!
