According to Paul's site, a live-album of the concert will be released Dec. 18, but no word on a DVD yet. Also: Here's a (less-than-generous) preview of the studio version of "Cut Me Some Slack":

I did a pre-order on iTunes today, but I'm still not seeing a tracklist on there...They list the album as having 24 songs on it, though.

Wow, they did not seemed that enthused about McCartney's set and song with Nirvana. Don't know what concert they were at. LOL
LOL I know!! Do you believe it : well he also called Kanye's set a Force and unless he's referring to the Force I called the Attack of the Sub Woofers...it was not my favorite set. The base on those subwoofers in the theater where I saw this, made it hard to breathe!! Still, minus the comments on SirVanna's new song, which I really really enjoyed... I liked that the review went through and commented on the whole show...

There's little that I can quibble about. He nailed everything, really, but if I have to pick & peck, Paul still needs to get out of the habit of wearing "mom jeans." I loved the light color; he looked like a glowing prince last night. Just don't like the cut of jeans that he wears. That is literally the only thing I can complain about last night's set.

Just catching up now - saw the setlist on Twitter and thought it was bound to be fake! And did a little search this morning and saw some positive tweets re the voice which is always nice But Paul.... those jeans?
See??? It's not just I who notices that Paul wears "mom jeans."
Some are saying that they look like the ones he wore in Help! Maybe the actual ones! lol
Some of the moms really "liked" the jeans My girlfriend kept exclaiming throughout the entire Paul bit, how much she liked seeing him in jeans...over his regular trousers and braces. I liked seeing him in jeans as well... Are you all saying that you like the trousers and braces better? Why are we quibbling about jeans.... Paul blew me away last night with his performance!!! It was sooooo amazingly great and we have to find something negative Well at least it's just jeans this time!! AMAZING SHOW Just can't stop the high from seeing so many of my favourite artists playing together for such a good cause. It made me very very happy... can't wait to get the DVD
I hope they rush the DVD release...I gots ta' have it!
If there is a dvd release then I have to have it as well! Can I camp out all night? Would I need to do that with getting it online?

Bon Jovi did a great job with this song, but after watching this guy performing to it in the stands at the Boston Celtics game, I have to say that I would have liked to have seen him at the show with Bon Jovi last night. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=514676191890798&set=vb.100000452660334&type=2&theater

I'm hoping one of my friends thought to record the show on DVD for me...I'm really wanting a complete copy of the concert, not a hack job that will probably be hte official version. I want all 6 hours in its unedited glory.

There are already complete versions out there for download. I'm sure many variations will be going around.

21st Century Paul:
Here's Paul already legendary performance (I'm glad he didn't retire after the Olympics ) : From the concert: 1.Helter Skelter hd
2.Let Me Roll It hd 3. 1985 hd 4. My Valentine (feat. Diana Krall) 5. Blackbird hd 6. Cut Me Some Slack hd (ft. Nirvana except for Kurt Cobain,..) 7. I've Got A Feeling hd 8. Live And Let Die hd It reminds me of this one Queen-Live Aid PS is there anybody else who can perform with Diana Krall and Nirvana? Those links don't work. I feel like my head is gonna explode because I am SOOOOO mad @ ION for cutting away before Paul's performance for a ****ing wrestling match. I am beyond frustrated, I had been looking forward to last night for weeks.
They don't work in certain countries.

They must be planning a DVD release...all those links are not available in the US.
I was wondering if they would be stripping the links today. I'll have to post my videos to here or my Facebook page directly. I didn't take any videos of songs, just the in between stuff as I wasn't sure what the cameras were showing and not showing.
Speaking of the inbetween stuff...they must have had a whole bunch of stagehands setting evreything up for the bands huh? I can't imagine the nightmare it must have been for them to set the stage with so little time available. Job well done!
They very intelligently had a rotating stage, so while one band was performing, the next band's equipment was being set up. I think that this is what led to the schedule of who performed. The longer acts played before the artists with a lot of equipment. Pretty smart, huh?
kind of like in live Aid... and that's why Bruce... and all the E-Street band just got to be openers.

Hey! great pics! is it me or Paul was also more playful/frontmanish than usual?...
