Paul's involvement gives me more confidence that my contribution tomorrow will definitely and promptly benefit the people who need it. He looks fab, btw. Love, love, love the blazer!

What about the background music? Too much rain. Think he'll do that one?

I have no idea what he's gonna pull outta' his bag of tricks. He's promised something nice, and he's shocked me before. My wish would be "Rainclouds." And -- believe it or not -- I would love to hear him whip out The Beatles' "Rain," as that is one of my all-time fave bass-lines...but maybe with someone else singing lead, though. I just don't know...

"Too Much Rain" would be awesome! "Somebody Who Cares" (from Tug of War) would surely fit the mood as well.

I don't get very "fan girly" but if this is true, I'm going to pee myself from joy: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/music/4693497/Sir-Paul-McCartney-replacing-Kurt-Cobain-in-Nirvana.html "The sensational gig will see the surviving members of the grunge band [NIRVANA] together for the first time in 20 years. And former Beatle Sir Paul will sing with them as they play a new song at a star-filled charity concert in New York." No. Effing. Way.

Dear sweet Jesus, no...

SIR Paul McCartney has revealed that he will jam with the surviving members of Nirvana. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/music/sir-paul-mccartney-to-play-cobain-with-nirvana-at-hurricane-sandy-benefit/story-e6frf9hf-1226535537145

I had a feeling something to do with nirvana was going on after Brian posted a picture of Keith smith holding a bass guitar that Brian said belonged to krist , and the only bass player called krist i could think if was in nirvana..... im rather nervous and excited; those boys can play:-):-) and we might get to see some different style lead guitar from Paul

Not sure what to make of this news, lets be fair Dave Grohl seems to be a Paul groupie (aren't we all) but this i dont know,it a no win situation it seems to me. But hey i await to be surprised in a very pleasant way too. Oh and im pretty sure Grohl and Novoselic are very careful NOT to call it any sort of Nirvana "comeback" given that Mrs C Love will doubtless be watching in and taking notes. But lets accept it for what it is 4 great players having a jam for great cause.

It looks like Paul will at least be playing "Live and Let Die" which seems like an odd choice, but hey, who am I to judge? http://instagram.com/p/THguUPkY84/ As for the Nirvana rumors...still fan girling over here as I get ready to roll to NYC.
