Rusty told his favorite Beatles story this morning about the Beatles Sandwich, where they stack up on top of each other to stay warm. He bought his new song "Where do we go..." is the title i think, it was cool. He also chose "Maybe I'm amazed" of the song he would like played

just got back a little while ago from Rusty's show. I took A LOT of photos but it may be a couple of days until they are up on my site. It was great to see Rusty again. His band consisted of Petur Smith on drums and Matt McKenna on guitar and horn and Todd O'Keefe on bass. It was a nice intimate seated outdoor venue. We've been having really strange weather in SoCal; earlier in the week it was miserably hot. Today it was quite cool and got even cooler as the evening progressed. Rusty and the guys played from 6:30-8:30pm, with a break in the middle. Rusty played some things off his first album and a couple of Beatles tunes. He also played some songs off of his second album, which he said should be released in about a month. He didn't give an exact date. After hearing some of the new music, I would expect the new album to be terrific. It was a great evening, hearing nice people play good music in a very laid-back setting.
