If you were to ask Rusty a question, what will it be? Mine are really mostly about the Beatles. Knowing that he is crazy about Paul, what about John, George and Ringo? Where was he when John got shot? His feelings about George's death? Has he ever met Ringo? I sent those to Martha (even posted something like that in the group) and she said that she'll ask him in Spring when she does the next Q&A

Does anybody have a scanner and the UU CD booklet that can scan it in? I would really love to use it as the Home page photo...but then maybe I shouldn't because we wouldn't be able to read and post messages there! We will be too busy staring
I don't have a scanner I'm afraid. It would make a great homepage pic. It'll probably turn up on the web at some stage, these things usually do. Or you could always email Corinne and ask her if it's possible to get a copy. Rusty may not want it posted all over the place for various reasons - copywright laws etc. I've noticed it's not possible to link to any pix on his new site, which is disappointing but completely understandable. Considering what's been posted on this thread and on Brian's I don't blame him!
You can't even save the pictures on his re-vamped site now, I tried to, especially the one that's black and white with his guitar.

I'm in the process of compiling a list for the web chat. It's hard to come up with intelligent sounding ones because so many of them have been asked already. I love Ednaswap and would like to know how much of a creative input he had into the band. I also want to know what Sentimental Chaos is about - I know it's about battling demons, but there's just something in the lyrics that makes me want to know more. That may be too personal for him to answer though. Beatlesrock - you HAVE to ask your question about his name! I've been wondering about that ever since Corinne's post on the Yahoo group.

When is the chatting going to be?

We don't have a date yet. Jorie said on her board that it will be after Brian's chat. And I'm sure Corinne will keep us up to speed.

Rusty not doing a chat for Jorie's site for a while yet; first Jorie will interview him but that won't happen until late next month at the earliest. There are a lot of other ones he's done recently, which are available online and in print, both with Beatle and non-Beatle publications.

Thanks, Corinne. That was fast!!

Yes - I'm going to. I hope it's not anything too personal but if it is, of course, he has right of refusal in answering. There are quite a few questions I want to ask about UU, to do with lyrics and certain sounds and things but you're right about a lot being asked already. I'm also interested in his earlier career.

Do you think Rusty does the laugh on Devil's Spaceship?
I'm not sure. Have you listened to the interview on Macca Central done back in May '03? He laughs a few times during that but to be honest I can't tell. I love that song at the moment though. There are so many different sounds on it, I love the piano. And the way he shouts "no!" at the end of one of the verses. The lyrics crack me up too.
I just listened to it again. In fact, I had to stop working because I couldn't listen to the lyrics and do my work at the same time! The 'Knock, knock' cracks me up!

I've been listening to Everybody Deserves An A In This Country today - the lyrics are hysterical on that one as well! Nice bass line too.

Rusty will be on Chris Carter's "Breakfast with the Beatles" on Sunday, February 29. He'll be calling from England; there is also a contest for a signed copy of Undressing Underwater.

That means the band are recording in London again!!! Yeah. Corinne - Will he be doing any interviews for any British media whilst he's over here?

LOVE this one: He was slipping down the page again so I rescued him (again).

Beatlesrock and I (well, Beatlesrock really) have just made an nice discovery - Rusty's old site is still accessable!! Here's the link: http://www.rustyanderson.com/404.html WHAT is Rusty doing with a parrot on his shoulder?????!!!!!

And, having said all that, I paid a visit to his NEW site and discovered lots of new changes!! It appears to be under construction at the moment, but it all looks good. Lots of new "spongy" things have been added, including a "read me" section which will have LYRICS!!!!!!!!!!! And he has a link to Brian's website on it too - bless!!
