So, the date is getting closer! All the time! Anyone thinking about a meetup? So far, it's a friend from here - kind of (the premium section that I stumbled upon on a comment on a blog post) and a friend from Twitter that turned out to be just as much obsessed as I am! Let me know!

Here is a guide to the official goings on: http://www.edmonton.ca/attractions_recreation/festivals_events/celebration-for-sir-paul-mccartney.aspx Paul should play more medium-sized cities. They really appreciate it.

Here's a story about a fan taking her daughters to see Paul McCartney in Edmonton. But there's more to it than that. For one of her daughters, who has sensory processing disorder, seeing Paul is a dream come true. Hope you like it. http://www.examiner.com/article/mom-s-present-for-special-needs-daughter-we-re-going-to-see-paul-mccartney

WOW!! I am really impressed! Sounds great!

These are shaping up to be the coldest dates Paul has ever played, with highs of 6 and 2 degrees F. Anyone planning on waiting to see Paul arrive?

I would love to see that! I've lived here my whole life. Well, my whole life being the ripe old age of 25... well, okay, the first 22 years was in a small town just outside of here, but whatever. 6 and 2 F... what's that? He should be thrilled. There's suppose to be a snowfall warning as well.... 15 to 25cm (5 inches - approx. 10 inches (if it does 10 inches... almost a foot!))

Eh! I'll try! I'm only 7th row on the floor... for the festivities it's just the little things. I still think it's pretty awesome. I've been waiting a long time for this!... well, half my life, suppose.

We actually had a late snow fall this year. Snow has been around for awhile. That's what this place is about.
