Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

5th-beatle:
If I had to guess, I would say there will be a new tour (new name and slightly different setlist) in the spring, beginning either in EU/UK or Asia, followed by US dates in the summer. Then... who knows?
Spring will be Latin America, Summer will be the US, and in the Fall, more Latin American dates.

I had heard that Japan was a long way off in rescheduling so I knew that would not surface by the end of the year and through another friend with a source says that Australia will not happen. Of course, it's not my people so I don't know how reliable they are, I don't really know. As far as 2015...>South America could be on the map again...I've heard nothing but it's generally in April so if the Bayonets are doing some live shows around March, this probably would not disturb that
-
He's running out of places to visit in South America. Maybe a couple of concerts in Argentina (if they can get foreign currency to pay him) and a couple of cities in Brazil (such as Salvador and Curitiba, and/or a couple of concerts at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio) and that's it. In fact, I've been told the upcoming tour (november 2014) will be his last one in Brazil, so anything is possible. Maybe in 2015 he will focus on places he hasn't been to in a while, like Europe, UK, Mexico and Australia? Also the usual US summer dates and those Asian concerts that are waiting to be rescheduled.
-
I'd like to start a rumor of a full UK tour....hopefully this will then become true! Haven't seen him since 2012, getting desperate now!
-
would doubt even a full fledged Europe tour Chris....I'd say if lucky 10-12 shows judging by the way he's been doing things

What about: Argentina (3 concerts) Bolivia Brazil (Salvador & Curitiva, perhaps also Maracana in Rio) Venezuela Panama I'd like to see that tour in April/May 2015. What do you think Mr. Gannon?

If it's like the On The Run tour you won't hear me complain: Throughout November/December 2011 and March 2012: Bologna and Milan in Italy, Paris in France, Cologne in Germany, London, Manchester and Liverpool in England, Stockholm in Sweden, Helsinki in Finland, Moscow in Russia, Rotterdam in The Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland, Antwerp in Belgium and back to London, England. Now that's more like a tour. 13 cities spread across 10 countries, different setlists and nice shake-ups ('Venus And Mars'/'Rock Show' as fourth track in Rotterdam, 'Drive My Car' in the encore in Antwerp, 'rarity' 'Let 'Em In' the same gig, rotations in between 'Venus And Mars', 'Magical Mystery Tour' and 'Hello Goodbye' as opener plus the acoustic block in the middle which had either 'And I Love Her' or 'I've Just Seen A Face', former 'Up And Coming' 2010 exclusivities like 'I'm Looking Through You' thrown in the mix, the European debut for many songs including 'I Will', plus the debut of all-time highlights like 'The Word'/'All You Need Is Love', 'My Valentine', 'Come And Get It', spontaneous moments like 'Yellow Submarine' and 'Ram On', even 'Lady Madonna' got scrapped) to boot. Almost all in 10,000-15,000 standing general admission venues, as it should. Perfect. The 'Good Evening' tour had 17 shows, 'Up And Coming' had 42, 'On The Run' had 37, and 'Out There' already has 64... Getting really anxious he's gonna put the tour to sleep, and you know what that means: all the goodies fans worldwide were longing for out, and put in the 'Please Please Me'/'She's A Woman'/'Come And Get It'-category, while the stale second half stays exactly where it was for the last 15 years.

Yep. He's burning fans the world over.

I just do NOT get it. Why on earth doesn't he take a year off from the USA and South America and in 2015 go to China, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Europe, the UK?? And the thing is, he will hit the SAME markets in 2015. I'll never understand his management's decision processes.

I don't agree with it, but I understand it. They know where he has guaranteed sell-outs...The Americas.

You said it. More power to him.

Yes. Paul is a company that is out there to make the most profit. Period.

I understand that. But how do the Rolling Stones play Argentina, Australia, and Albuquerque, but Paul McCartney doesn't?

That's the wrong attitude to have with rock n' roll. I'm all for Capitalism, but we're not talking about pleasing a board of directors -- we're talking about fans. Or, to use a term you'd appreciate: Consumers.

I suppose the Stones perform a lot more shows on their tours than Paul, who's management has to be selective and pick the most profitable options. +profit, +commission for them.

I think, at 72, Paul can do as he pleases. It's not like he's a new artist trying to be well known worldwide. So Paul is not coming to my country? Well, though luck. I will sell my kidney and fly to him. That's exactly what I'm doing now actually

Well, Buena suerte with that! I'll keep my kidney and my hard earned money and listen to John Lennon's Imagine CD!!
-
And I will no longer spend my hard earned on "product" from "Paul - the company."
-
Then don't
-
So what are the rumors at the moment for next year? The promoters in Argentina said they will approach Paul's staff again in 2015. That means concerts either in April/May or November, if they are successful. There are no rumors of US concerts yet, but we naturally assume there will be a few in the summer.

You can't go wrong with that one! Superb album. I recommend the new HD bluray audio edition.
