Hate to say I told ya so for "hope of deliverance" but.... SO glad we're gonna get to hear it this summer!!! I don't expect any rotation from night to night, but I guess we'll really find out after this show tonight. There are very few songs I still want out of the set, and they aren't the kind of songs he generally rotates so...
Given his history of playing certain songs only in certain countries (I'm looking at you, "Mull of Kintyre"!), you'll have to forgive our skepticism. Since he did rotate a couple of songs the last tour, I wonder if he might rotate some this tour as well. However, he didn't have as many different songs last tour, so it's possible he will stick to the same setlist every night ("Every Night"...now there's a song I miss!).
Tonight's setlist should really be like the final deciding factor in any potential change for this set. It's two nights in the same city, so if there is any mixing to be done, now is the time. Still holding out for "Michelle" in DC...I know you are too Jen!!!

If I were betting...I would say that "Maybe I'm Amazed and "And I Love Her" would be the likely "changes" for second night shows. Possibly with "Let 'Em In" and ""I've Just Seen a Face".
I would bet too there will be a few changes tonight. I wouldn't bet those will be the changes though. But hey, he kept Hope alive, so anything's possible!

Rusty loves "another girl" so i hope in the future to see this song in the setlist

How about "do you want to know a secret?" instead?

Written by John for George to sing. If he does that song, Paul may as well change the tour name to BEATLEMANIA!

I think he was being facetious.
By the way one of only three words in the english dictionary that has all the vowels in it... in order just a little trivia
(poor "y")

hey, audi..what kind of Geetar are you playing in your profile pic? are you pretty proficient?? I am just starting to try to learn, bought a pair of them this last week it gives me 8 total..but I have fun with them...my wife thinks I am nuts but oh well, she should know by now..I AM.
It's a Martin. And, I'm OK on guitar. Not a Hendrix at all. But I have my moments.

No "Hope of Deliverance" tonight in Orlando. I'm hoping (of deliverance) he's keeping his pattern of rotating two songs each night. If not, I'm going to release a swarm of locusts at the NYC show. And he thought the grasshoppers were bad...

The 1975 album? Or the tour a couple of years before it where he played a lot of the songs from the (obviously then unreleased ) album and avoided playing his best know songs?
-
The tour. He asked the audience to "stick with this, and at the end, I'll do songs you've heard before." He did the the whole (new) album...twice. B.A.L.L.S.

I play a Taylor 6 string acoustic and LOVE it! I have owned many, and love the most recent one I bought. Next will be a Taylor 12 string acoustic for solo gigs!

Yeah lol and this was before the album was even released. I read an article about the (think it was UK tour) and the support band was The Eagles- they did their melodic country-rock and the audience were expecting more of the same from Neil!!

I just made myself absolutely sick. If Paul rotates "Hope of Deliverance" so that's it's played every other show, I will hear it only one time out of the four shows I'm going to. Here's hoping he plays it every night that he doesn't have two back-to-back concerts in the same city!

Pink Floyd used to do that all the time. They played Dark Side of the Moon in full for at least a year before it was released on record. Same with Wish You Were Here and Animals too. I will break with my usual reply to the setlist complaints (shut up and be glad he's still going Out There) , but you wish Paul would be so bold, trust his audience, and play a few new tunes. But he knows what everyone came to hear. And so do we truth be told.

Artistic statements like that must be respected.

Elton John was booed when he played songs from Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy before it was released, because he did not play his hits. That was at several shows on the tour. I don't think he ever did that again. So it can backfire too, unfortunately.
-
I could see an Elton crowd definitely not goin' for that.
