I really enjoyed the McCartney performances for the MTV appearances with the (New) World Tour lineup. Unplugged in '91 and Up Close in '92 have some great/unique highlights...especially with early "Off The Ground" promo before The New World Tour and the unplugged versions from the year prior. I would love to see them get some official video/album release treatment outside of bootleg, but that is of course unlikely. I figured I'd bring it up with the new "Off The Ground" rerelease. Also, I can't find any info on the shows in the PaulMcCartney.com Tour Archives. Perhaps because they were television appearances, but some of the more recent broadcast concerts are on there as well. Anyway, I was just looking for more info on them and was surprised at how little I can find outside of YouTube and a scattering of bootleg websites.

I remember them. There was a Paul McCartney Sunday too once on MTV in those times, around 1993 or so. I was glued to the TV from morning till night and recorded everything on VHS.

Ah for the good old days, when MTV and VH1 actually had music!
