It must be even more unusual and exciting for such a town to receive an artist as legendary as McCartney, then. I bet it must be a sold out concert. What is the seating capacity of the venue?

It is not sold out. It holds about 23,000. What is frustrating is Albuquerque has a population of 562,000 and a metro population of 909,000 but cannot get a McCartney concert. University Stadium, where the Rolling Stones played in 1997, can hold 40,000. The Stones had 34,000 at their concert.

I guess Fargo is low on Beatles fans and Paul fans. This show is not sold out. And I just read on Twitter that they gave 500 free tickets to military families just today. Oh well, not every show is a sellout. But I do wonder why his promoter suggested they bother going up to such a small market if the fan interest is slight. There are so many other places that are hankering for a McCartney show. (shrugs)

Which makes it even more frustrating for a fan like me in Albuquerque, where I know we could move 25,000 to 35,000 tickets for a show.

Heading out to Fargo soon. If anyone is interested in my two extra tickets PM me. I'll be staying in the downtown, hipster neighborhood

Boy, I'd love to be doing this soundcheck...if sales are slow there won't be many people there.

Hmmmm. We just have regular seats. Can you buy last minute sound he k tickets ?
-

There are no tickets showing available on Tickektmaster so it appears to be sold out, at least officially. As for the venue, it depends on how it's configured. 25,000 is max. capacity for the whole place, inc. back and floor. If it a 3/4 concert configuration, it will be about 16,000. Guess they will find out tonight. Rock On North Dakota!

Well, I have a feeling ALL the shows will be "officially" sold out. One article for Albany said the crowd was close to 20,000. Another article said 15,000. And a news article said official attendance was 13,500. So, there ya go!

Those seats just came up right in front of the stage. On the Fargodome site.

In Fargo ready to ROCK!!
