If they have then they have missed a bunch of posts about doing more solo songs - lol
Maybe some of those will be done at the next tour, in 2016?

He needs more 80s and 90s ?Figure of Eight? ?Jet? "All My Loving" ?Flaming Pie? "Let Me Roll It" "Paperback Writer" "Once Upon a Long Ago" "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five" "The Long and Winding Road" "Maybe I'm Amazed" "I've Just Seen a Face" "We Can Work It Out" "And I Love Her" "Calico Skies" ?Hope of Deliverance? "Blackbird" "Here Today" ?Something? ?My Brave Face? "New" "Queenie Eye" "Lady Madonna" ?C?mon People? "Back in the U.S.S.R." "Let It Be" ?Live and Let Die? ?Pipes of Peace? ?Beautiful Night? Right he needs more 80s and 90s but "Figure of eight", "Calico skies" , "Hope of deliverance", "Here today", "C'mon people" and "My brave face" are songs already played in the past, instead I hope to hear songs like "Tug of war", "Take it away", "The world tonight" "Press", "No more lonely night" and "Somedays".

It seems that Can't Buy Me Love has replaced Get Back at the second Tokyo concert, two weeks after my suggestion on page 117 of this thread. When was it last sung prior to this tour? 2009? Maybe someone from Paul's camp has been reading this message board, after all. If he does She's A Woman (or Nowhere Man, but that's unlikely) at the Budokan, I'll have no doubts anymore.

Word.

Ballroom Dancing would work well in the encore. I've a feeling his new tour will add that one and Girls School
Is this a test-run for April Fool's Day next year?

When I check the most recent McCartney-related uploads to YouTube, our friends in Japan have shared their cell-phone videos of "Hope For The Future" more than any other song from the show -- so far. I think that's telling.

I don't know how the audience would react if Paul plays "Press" or "Take it away" hahaha But, "Tug of War" before "Pipes of Peace" would be great! Last year i though he was going to play those songs, due to the first century of WWI. Maybe he's going to play those songs at V-Day

"Take It Away" is perfect for that second-song spot. It would go over just as well as "Save Us" or "Junior's Farm."

Absolutely agreed. Take it Away was always my favorite solo HIT. Yes that's right Paul.....this was a HIT!!!

I agree but IMO would rather have it replace some other song that has been played to death, take your pick - lol.

"I don't know how the audience would react if Paul plays "Press" or "Take it away" hahaha " I could say the same thing about "All Together Now" but he plays it anyway.

Very true. While it may not IMO be one of his best, it is a relatively new song and they obviously want to something different. IMO Mr. McCartney is out of touch with some of his audience. People enjoyed "Hope of Deliverance" but he only plays it at selected locations. The people of Kiev voted for "Mrs. Vanderbilt" and only after the great reaction was it included in set list for awhile. There were signs for "Ram On" at soundchecks and concerts and only then did Mr. McCartney actually do it a few times. In addition, it took the band (believe it was Rusty) who got him to finally play "Too Many People" live. I am sure there are other examples but it should be enough to show Mr. McCartney that there are people who actually think his career did not stop after the Beatles.

It just needs a few changes at the start and in the encore: Eight days a week Save us Jet Listen to what the man said Can't Buy me love Hi Hi Hi I Saw her standing there

If I'm blessed with the chance(s) to see him again this summer, I'd be content with this in those portions of the show. I wouldn't mind a new opener, but if I have to hear one repeated...it might as well be this one. That encore is killer...I've never heard Can't Buy Me Love, haven't heard Saw Her STanding There since 2011, and Hi HI Hi is still pretty fresh and rockin'!

Same with me with CBML, Where as Jet and LTWTMS have come in and out All my loving has stayed solid for 4-5 yrs, so a few minor changes could be done so easily. Much prefer ISHST instead of Get back. Only 4 week till I see him in London, are u going for Philadelphia tickets?

Yeah, maybe Charlottesville too as it seems that will be announced in the next few days...we'll see. The Out There tour hasn't hit either of these cities, so I'm not expecting any great surprises.

Hmm... Now that you mention it, no!! It's going to be hard to top the false tour announcement... Might have to think of something bigger... But not too bad that I'll get booted from the board!
