I'm dying to know how much the "Roll Like a Rockstar" package is! You have to contact them and send all your info in order to find out.
You have to have 8 people as a group to do Roll Like a Rockstar. And it's $20,000. So, $2,500 each.
Wish I'd known that a few months ago...
I would like all the perks, but the viewing section isn't in the pit...which is OBVIOUSLY where Alvita and I will insist on being for Paul. So... ops:
Do you think if we show up this weekend they'd let us go ahead get in line??

Me too! To me that is relatively inexpensive--I thought it was gonna be $50,000! Let's do it audi! We just need 5 more people!

Essentially, it's all but confirmed though.

Does anyone know how close you can get with a basic ticket? How much of a pit is the VIP in front of the stage, or is it on the side and not in front of regular ticket holders? Thanks.

Yeah - the pit is general admission - not VIP-only. They clear it after every show, then open it back up before the next show begins. There will be a line for the pit for headliners (especially for Paul). In fact, we'll be waiting in line all day. But, hopefully it all works out and we're at the front of the pit for Paul!

To clarify, I've never been to Bonnaroo or any festival. My friend has been to quite a few Bonnaroo's but not since 2006 or something. I saw pics online that looked like a large fence that took up a lot of space in front of the stage, like a big "U" shape on the field. Is this the pit you are talking about? Do you just have to wait in line to get inside? I plan on being up and waiting for hours before they open up the gates the morning Paul is playing. Is this the plan?

Correct. You can see half of the pit in this photo.. you'll see a silver half-U-shaped gate separating the pit from the rest of the crowd. The line will form to the side of the stage once people are let into the festival. Apparently there is no "order" to this. No one officially says where the line for headliners is. So...we just need to stake it out. And, if we're the first ones there, WE say that's the line! (and hopefully what we says goes, right Alvita??) EDIT: Sorry that pic is so small. Just click it to see it bigger.

Does this happen once a day in the morning or for every new act on the mainstage?
-
okay, I will be there at 6 am sharp.......

Yes, cut in front of us at your own risk... In all seriousness, I'm actually looking forward to waiting in line all day. It's a cool opportunity to meet other fans and get really excited about the show! I had a great time in Atlanta. p.s. What's with the big space in the middle of the pit?!

They empty the pit after every single act. Then they let the people waiting in line for the next act into the pit before that show starts. Rinse. Repeat.
