Fuh You

During the pandemic I wrote a song with the working title ’fucked’ but I knew I couldn’t release it with that title if I wanted any AirPlay. Then I was watching Glastonbury this year and the title for Fuh You came up in screen. I had always thought it wax For You but when I googled it and watched a few interviews I realised it was ‘I wanna fuh you’. So I decided to call my song Fuh (I Can’t Stop Falling). It’s due for release on 11-11-22 but the video is on YouTube and radio ate already playing the song. The funny thing is, even though I referenced Macca in the press release, DJs are still pronouncing it wrong and haven’t made the connection. What do you think?

Hate to tell you, but the song was originally “For You” but when Paul’s producer heard the way he pronounced “For” as “Fuh” he convinced Paul to change the title which gave it a “naughty” connotation. Paul is singing “I just want it for you.” Big mistake to change the title imo.
I’m waiting for my mom in the dentist’s office and their crappy wi-fi won’t let me Google, or I’d post the article where the producer is interviewed about this.

Paul made the mistake of letting the producer title the song. He should have just said "No, it's called For You." and the lyrics should have been printed as "for you." Even though they are printed as "I just want it fuh you" people still hear "I just wanna fuh you." which is a totally different thing of course! -
