@njr referring to your George Harrison ticket 1991 and your seeing him in 1974.
I never saw George in 1991. YOU saw him in 1992!

@wandy Found my George ticket pic - it was $8.50, not $7.50, but still a bargain! I think I only paid about $10-$12 for 1976 WOA ticket!
Is 10.30 pm the time the conccert started or the curfew?

@hamish-stuart There were 2 concerts that night, one started at 7:30pm and the other at 10:30pm which was the one we went to! I was 19 and my boyfriend Paul had just turned 22. We are still friends and I just wished him a happy 70th birthday!

@njr Cool ticket!! Go Georgy Porgie!!! Had my photo taken outside Friar Park many times!! Friar Park was formerly owned by a lawyer called Frank Crisp. He founded a company called Ashurst Morris Crisp, in London. I got a job there as an office cleaner. On the 6th floor was a room known as the Partners Drinks Room. It was in there that the lawyers would entertain their clients with free drinks and food. But my interest there was 2 fold. The drinks room also told the story of Friar Park, in both pictures and words. I would go in there whenever I could to have a good read. My second interest was one of the lawyers told me the Beatles visited the building to discuss their break up. Unfortunately it was so long ago that there is nobody working there now who remembers them being there.

@njr Thanks for the info! I didn't know George did double-headers on this tour, but apparently, it was quite the norm.
-
@hamish-stuart Umm what's a "double header"
-
@wandy 2 shows in one day.
